Hii! I'm actually heading to Korea for a short 3 week trip on Friday. this and your other vlogs have been so helpful! As my trip is now turning into a solo trip which I wasn't expecting! So thank you for making this! ❤ I'm still nervous but a little less😅
@@Kiki-nd8zo I'm in your shoes (trip is one month away) these are the phrases duolingo should be teaching me 🤣 'where is the bathroom?' is also a must know for me
"How much does this cost" was so useful during my trip ten years ago, especially when I was in Dongdaemun. The 이모님 were so nice to give me discounts hehehehe
Oh, this will be very helpful on my solo trip next month. So happy to found your video :) I hope it comes with a summary of all the phrases you had mention, but anyway I can just list it down. Kamsahamnida :)
Currently in Korea and only stumbled on this from your 22 tips trending video. I Like your videos because I cannot speak a lick of it, even when attempting, absolutely butcher 🔪it,even though I'm Korean. (Shame 🔔) . Thanks for creating this from the perspective of an English speaker(and fellow mimer 🙏wish the TH-cam algorithm what pick you up. KEEP MAKING THOSE VIDEOS GIRL! You certainly have a new fan here!
As an Asian who speaks a few languages, watched plenty of KDrama, and have listened to plenty of K-pop, Korean is still very difficult to comprehend. Perhaps, my ears are tuned to other languages that have stronger consonant sounds. I have 2 months to learn some basic phrases before going there to live my best K-pop/ KDrama life.
Yes, I agree: we don't need high level of Korean proficiency to travel in Korea. if you speak broken Chinese, it will ok to travel in China. Thanks for sharing!
what is one of your must-learn phrases when you visit a foreign country? Let’s hear it in the comments!

"nei"- no in punjabi/hindi. anyone in india should be able to recognise it. indians are very kind, but also very manipulative.

I loveeee the old ladies! They’re usually so friendly and nice and give so much service too 😊
I’m learning some of my Korean from K dramas too! 😂 I am not embarrassed to say that I’m way into K dramas and love them; great shows.

Hey, I'm just a very beginner in Korean, but there seems to be an error in the video. seems that sorry should be 죄송한데요 instead of 죄송데요
