I’ve seen people use products that are supposed to even out porosity before going in with color … I have no idea how any of that works but is that something that could help it take more evenly?
Were your roots lightened to the right level? Also with some shades I find I need to pretone the hair to get any brassiness out for the colors to take better

Do you know of a darker shade to fix your roots?? I’m having the same problem. This dye doesn’t stick on roots😑
