    Thanks you for this. I have just bought into the Soundswitch world so these tutorials are very useful. I'm a DJ using the Denon gear but I'm also a musician - is there any way to set up auto to work similar to a traditional 'sound to light' set up (following the kick drum for example). I'm trying to work out how to do this. Thanks.

    Please can you explain how to do a static look without affecting the colour (like a colour pass thru)? Eg: I have my moving heads slowly moving around the room, fading through colours the same as my pars. Now I want to just change the gobo without affecting anything else - literally like just changing one fader of that dmx channel. Right now, as soon as you select a fixture for a static look, you are forced to select a colour. It kinda defeats the purpose of the static looks section. If a person just wants to change a single channel of a fixture (no matter what channel it is) and assign it to button - how do we do that?

      Did you even find out if it is possible to do this? Just getting into Soundswitch and I would like to do the exact same thing!

      @@sparklybob37 Sorry, but no. I was unable to do this. The way SS has implemented static looks limits the software badly. Each time you select a static look, it switches off any other that you have on. Basically you can only have one static look activated at a time. Very frustrating!

    So still not more active static looks at once?
    I have four static looks for hazer (from 50 to 255 values). One for white strobing on Gigbar 2 and another static look let's say for orange color. If I want to let white strobe on and turn on the hazer it won't let me to turn it at once and I would have to program static looks with the exact attributes. Or I have Gigbar 2 four leds showing UV and I want to turn on pink and white colors for first dance and with another static look turn on UV, or hazer again. Can you implement this? I know that it can collide when I have two different colors on the same light on two static looks, so to solve this it can override it with order I turn on the particular static looks.

    can you "crossfade" between static looks? like two dinner scenes that I can crossfade between without effecting the auto loop and without it cutting hard to the new look (e.g. A scene to B scene). Is this a function that might be elsewhere in Soundswitch without creating a new autoloop?

    Hi, I can see 32 static looks slots. Is it possible to have more? Is it also possible to fade from one static to another? Thanks

    Hi! Is there a way that I could just copy one frame/ moment or 'still' from one of the autoloops (or even scripted tracks) that I made, and make that into a static look? Instead of having to manually make all the settings for each static look, it would be great if I could copy one of the static moments of the scripted lightshows. It would safe a ton of work:)

      Valid point. I will push it to the devs in the forums. This missing feature is indeed quite annoying.

    It would be great to be able to have this on and off function with autoloops.

    Why do you start an auto-loop before going to static looks? Can you explain that more in depth?

    • @arthureschner9319
      @arthureschner9319 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Im sure he was just running the autoloop to show that the static look will take over. You can enable a static look whether the autoloops or scripted tracks are running or not.

    How do you launch static looks from the Control One? Also, why am I getting no options to assign any positions to my Chauvet Intimidator 360 IRC movers on the static look edit menu?

    • @arthureschner9319
      @arthureschner9319 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      To launch static looks from the Control One, you need to press the "auto Loop" button next to the Banks 1-4. The button will start flashing, now you can control your static looks. You can add positions in the static look menu, however it would be more beneficial to use the position overide section for that. On the control One, hold shift, you'll see the colour overide buttons change to white - thats the position overide section, made for exactly what you're after. You must obviously assign positions to them in the SS software though. You can also scrol through the position overide menu on the tiny Control One screen & select from there. But that's a pain in the ass.

    Hi. One question! I see light on when not music play, how you do that? Example: run autoloops or scripted tracks and when the music end, the light is black but I want after 1 second to turn on some lights to create an ambient when no music play, but wen play next song to return to autoloops or scripted tracks automatically (I don't want to use static lock every time). I watch all tutorials but I don't find out how to have some light on after music ended.

    Hello there! One question: what if I have fixtures, like moving heads, that are not in your given library?

    • @soundswitch4427
      @soundswitch4427  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Please email support@soundswitch.com with the fixtures user manual and we will add these for you. This takes about 24 hours.
