you are 100% correct its been like that since I was a kid 20 years ago... for myself I wish I could play like and be as big as Shaq, however I was a center until high school because I was 6 foot tall in grade 6... I have played both positions and I truly believe the best position would be a Steph curry shooting type of Shaq player. Now that would be fun! If I was growing up today I would be dreaming of playing like Jokic
Because if a 7 foot guy played like harden or curry they would be a cheat code and 5”10 guys are insecure about their height

im 6'2 and basically as skinny as KD lol. im 16 aswell, i wont be 7ft but based on my genes i should hope to be atleast 6'7 or 6'8 since my grandfather averaged that height and both my parents are 5'10 and less. KD's playstyle is perfect for me
