    Hats off to you guys. This is a wonderful initiative. I think this is the first of the kind in youtube. You people have invested so much of your precious time. You did a wonderful job. I have never seen a demo project with scenarios like this which covers not only the ceremonies but also the role played by the SM, PO and the scrum team. It also gives the knowledge on JIRA tool as well. I feel extremely satisfied after watching this session. I already know theoritically about the agile methodologies and SCRUM. But this was a wonderful practical learning for me.
    Keep continuing your work guys. You are rocking. Expecting a similar kind of demo projects. I wish your team all the very best.

    Instructive video and I don't think I've seen such an extensive/detailed video of all ceremonies in one video.
    Point for improvement in my opinion is:
    1. the sound (not everyone can be heard clearly);
    2. who plays what role in each ceremony. During the Sprint-Review, an overview emerged which was useful to have the whole picture clear
    Hopefully there will be updates on this extensive video (in 1 video or individual videos per ceremony (which makes it easier to watch I think))

    Should PO tell about the product vision and give general info about it every sprint demo? Who should present user stories during the sprint review: tech lead or each sprint it's done by another teammate? What soft is used in 2:03:03? I think it's good to have general sprint review for all teams in a project. What about retro in the case when one SM for several teams?

    • @CareersTalk
      @CareersTalk  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      1- it depends on team to team, how complex is product, as team are we clear where we are heading and why we are doing. 2- again no fix patterns, ideally this should be change in every sprint review, encourage team members to come forward and present there own work .3- retrospect session normally are unique to each team, but if you feel there are lots of dependencies issues with other team ,have kind of sync ,connect with other team as well. Again there is no fix . Also remember there is 'retrospect of retrospective '

Now I want to kick start my second innings in project management and I found it more interesting .plz suggest me if csm would be good enough to start with ? Does MNCs will consider non IT professionals for this role? Waiting for your reply thanks

      You can do psm 1 , but remember too much competition in market. certification may help in getting call but nothing beyond. Buy one good book.list Is already there . Eat it( no read) until you have strong foundation you will not able survive foe long

    Hi, please help to understand, if the scrum master faces any technical impediments so how the rest of the team members can help him or if SM should discuss it with PO or Stakeholders. Other team members may have more work to do or less technical understanding as required to be fixed issues.

    Very nice video. The Role Plays were very much useful. But i have some doubts:
    1. How is product backlog refinement different from sprint planning/grooming? Because in both PO was explaining the story and team was estimating the story.
    2. Do you have any role play video on product backlog prioritization technique as well? How will the PO know which stories to pick up for a particular sprint? If not, do you plan to create a video on it?

    • @munnirokz1
      @munnirokz1 ปีที่แล้ว

      To answer your questions, product backlog refinement is a mid sprint meeting where PO, SM, and few developers and functional team members can get together to groom the stories in the backlog, this may be adding more description, acceptance criteria, or tasks, story points, prioritisation. Sprint planning involves entire team, and PO and it’s more about prioritising, assigning the stories depending on capacity and confirming the values added during refinement.
      Hope this helps

    I have been watching this for quite sometime- and though I undertand the framework? It seems something is missing. because the manner this is delivered is for either the project manager or the product owner role scenario. it seemed the scrum master is a bit roled-out. can someone explain this to me? or am i missing something?

    Hi All.
    In planning proker for a US a dev + tester need to work ..
    So for Dev suppose the estimate is 5 Story point and for Test it is 3 then combining the effort the Story point comes as 8 .
    But in planning porker we give the estimation as individual.
    I know at later part of slide this is called dev + tester as antipattern but in reality it always effort of Dev + Tester to complete a US .
    Kindly help me understand that in planning pker how can we combine dev + tester effort to come up withh Story points as combined
