I can't relate to losing a baby, but we all at some time or another come across pain that we just don't know what to do with. My mom recently died. I will take your advice and go through the Psalms. Thank you for sharing your painful story. My heart sits with you this morning. Losing a child is the worst pain anyone could feel. My previous wife and I also lost our son suffered a stillbirth as well. It was the most trying time our lives and the pain is unimaginable. We came home to his stroller and pack-n-play recently out together and gifts from his baby shower. God was there for us, although we had bitter and angry times, we kept leaning on Him. I haven’t revisited this thought in a long time, it was over 10 years ago. But on the rare occasion I hear someone who tragically lost a child, it reminds me that I’m not alone.

You made time to meet with me and pray with me taking me to Kay Warren's seminar on campus at Saddleback. Thank you for this message. Thank you for sharing your pain and what has encouraged you and your wife through such a difficult time. The Lord is with us and knows our pain and then uses this ......beauty from ashes ...the oil of joy for mourning. We are comforted. God bless you with His peace ...and may He continue to use you to help others as you have helped me through my pain.
