I see the same things you see when I watch this, but what I'm really focused on is the creative wordplay, effortless rhythm in the flow, and the complex multisyllable rhyme schemes. Materialistic and boastful? Absolutely, BUT with very skillful craftmanship that's lacking in most (not all) mainstream music.
If this was released now it would be on repeat, respect the flow, the beat and the story. Like Eminem when he raps, Papoose's voice forms part of the beat/melody
