There is a lake near Rohtang pass above second last curve - Dashour lake. People always miss that
DJ bhai, your videos really helped a lot. Water crossing, solo ride, all planning and other riding tips are too good to understand and implement. I completed a tour of more than 7k Kms. Started from Pune and ended in Pune. Circuit started from Manali and ended in Srinagar.
9 states, 23 days and 7k+ Kms.
This would have been really a tough task without your guidelines.

petrol, diesel, lubricants, LPG cylinders, kerosene, explosives and other inflammable products will not be allowed to use the tunnel

Please let us know that if we come from Spiti to Manali, can cops allow us to go through Rohtang? Because my friends stopped at the check post and they said Rohtang is closed because it's Tuesday. So can they allow it on other days? Tell us from your source.

No, they won't allow. Last month I visited Rohtang and police were not allowing vehicles to go via Rohtang. They asked us to go to Manali via Atlal Tunnel.

No they are totally not allowing bikes on rohtang recently I did spiti while comming to manali officer stopped us and asked to go from atal tunnel

Not allowed to go rohtang from manali, even sdm office is not giving permit.
you wont get permit every time you go there.. they are not bound to give anyone.. its only if they find your reason valid or you have some contacts.. you will get it ...
@@FalconRiders I got the permit but on the check post from manali to rohtang they dint allowed me to go to rohtang and they even dint consider the permit. They said it might be the mistake ,coz from this year bikes are totally banned to go to rohtang from manali.
