Great defensive play recognition but just a terrible decision by Feeley, he completely telegraphed that throw. I know it was slim pickings for the Dolphins at quarterback but they could’ve gotten someone better than Feeley, I don’t know what they saw in him. In 2002, he started five games on an Eagles team that was very good and Feeley was the definition of a game manager, he didn’t screw up very often but didn’t light up the stats either, he did just enough to steady the ship for Philadelphia while McNabb was out with an injury. But I remember the sports media, ESPN especially, hyping this guy up as the next great quarterback and the Dolphins took the bait.

That opening monologue Summerall did introducing Carson Palmer in his home debut gave me goosebumps, and I’m a Steelers fan. Nobody could do sports commentary quite like Pat Summerall, and both him and John Madden are dearly missed
