The other day when I played Solo I full-sent it for attack Beetles cuz there were undead in the lobby. With golden Wandering Wight it summoned 600/1700 beetles. Can definitely recommend Wandering Wight as a support/carry in Beetles comp 😊
@Jeef is is viable to put 4 star scarab ( +1/2 buff) second so parrot starts buffing extra hp. in other word, is forcing attack over hp a priority in such a comp, or balanced stats to beetles are also good?
In this case not, cause Rylak + 2/1 beetle benefits from Moiras Battlecry buffs. Otherwise (if you dont have Moira or Brann), it's totally viable to give your beetles some extra health (depends on what you play against)
attack is better because youre mostly going to be going against 6-7 minion comps, you dont want balanced stats for token comps generally if you have more minions then your opponent attack is better and if you have less your health is better for beetles, you have tokens where in a lot of situations the health doesnt matter. they get oneshot and if they value trade they might just block a spot for a new beetle to spawn. in that sense triggering the 2/1 battlecry is twice as valuable as the 1/2 deathrattle. The one gameplan where youd want extra health is when going against other beetles or undead tokens. also, in this specific video, the battlecry 2/1 is just much better because it gets triggered twice by moira. So in actuality its 4/2 compared to a deathrattle trigger from the 1/2 scarab. You wouldnt be able to fit the space for both a brann and rivendare normally though so this is something that only matters with moira (sometimes you just dont roll rylak + forest rover though and then you have to do with the 1/2 scarab. Its not like health has zero advantages and a single minion is easier to setup then 2.
My biggest beetle game was summoning 583/349 beetles. Reborn golden maca/reborn Rylak/Golden Forest rover/Golden brann/ 2x titus. It made macaw (sometimes twice) proc 2x the triple deathrattel of Rylak himself making Triple battlecry of Forest. For a wopping +72/36 per attack (plus all the classic procs obv)
I was playing duos with my friend, and he had perfect beetles setup: golden titus, bran and so on. But i was too strong with my 2 mecherel and 5 beasts that become a copy + some undeads to trigger avenge. So, 5 fishes is pretty strong

Well done, but I hate this Comp so much... You can't really counter this BS if someone get's Rylak, Macaw and the green Beetle pretty early... only chance you have if Scale your Minions to the thousands and even then... watch how even the Naga-Player with pretty high scaling lost against this Crap... It's sooooo annoying... especially with moira you have one additional board-Space for things like Cameleon or so and don't have to run Bran and Tidus... This needs a nerf or something... first I've seen those card I thought it kinda is a nice Idea... but now I'm just annoyed and for some evenings I just instant surrend the second I see Beast is part of the Lobby and and queued for a new one... I don't care for MMR enough to go through this anymore... I preffer having fun over playing against this BS that is only countered by high rolling, so you can scale your Minions to the whazuu or else you lose... "Scam-Cards"? Nope, they just Deathrattle in even more and higher Minions... Cleave... Only if you can hit the Deathrattle Summoners of the Beetles before there is enough space on board to get value... otherwise: GG next game... and before I waste like 30 mins to lose against this... I rather lose MMR and get a new Game without this... was same last tier with the Leaper-BS... Jeef wasn't even on Tier 6 and DOMINATED! And this is no Fun if you can just ignore the bigger cards that should give you a big advantage and can play on lower tiers... even the "Tier 2 Baller Elementals"-Build is fun and has big risk, since you constantly need to get them to scale And Risk losing against Scam-Builds with Leroy, Poisons and so on... But this: Nope thanks Blizz...

I also had a duos game, but I picked reno and my teammates picked this hero with moira, got golden moira with beetles, got 800 attack beetles.

Beetles is the easiest comp to go, no need APM just a few minions golden and that it, that's why i like it
