Great documentary on this car & yes lose the side pipes . Your attention to detail is so good. Elvis was all for customization but Im not sure if he’d a done this . Not the type of side pipes or lake pipes from the era he had this awesome car either. Nevertheless respect to the car dealer that saved the Kings Eldorado convertible 👍
Thanks a million! You're right. Great respect to James Cantrell for saving the Eldorado from being junked out and for spending all the cash restoring it. Without him the car would have been lost forever.
This car was on display at the Elvis Presley Museum in Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada in the Maple Leaf Village complex throughout most of the 1980's. . . . I remember it well because I was a teenager at the time and I lived 4 blocks from Maple Leaf Village Complex . . . It was on display together with Elvis's red 1967 Cadillac Coupe DeVille which was known as the Honeymoon Cadillac. It was a very big deal for all the Niagara Falls locals when those cars came to town and that museum opened.
Thanks a lot for the info! It's really nice to hear stories from people who have seen Elvis' cars in the past. I can understand that locals were very proud that Elvis' old Cadillac was displayed at home. The Honeymoon Cadillac will be discussed in an upcoming episode.
Unfortunatlely I don't have the right equipment to do the talking myself. So I put in all the text I've written in a computer program and the computer does all the talking for me, I agree, it's not really good, but it's easy and very fast. I will record my own voice eventually though.
@@davidmcaninch4714 No problem David. I agree with you. On my newer videos though, the computer voice is a bit better. I found another voice program of better quality.
I do all the research and presentation myself and it’s easy and fast to use a computer voice. I also don’t have the right equipment to record myself but I hope to update the videos eventually. The newer videos have a little bit better computer voice though.
This car was also used in the new movie ELVIS. Very slick
Yes, it was featured in the 2022 Elvis movie. However, the car used in the movie was a replica. It was very nice though...
magnifiquement raconté!! j'ai adoré. passionnant...
Merci beaucoup.
Great research in your videos.
Thanks so much Stephen!

Great video with great information but the computerized voice is a bit annoying.
Thanks! Sorry for the computerized voice. I'm working on getting a better one. Later on though, I hope to use my own voice....

Good news! The computer driven voice is a little aggravating. At least there are still things humans can do better than computers.
:-)
What is wrong with the audio?
Why are you talking like a robot? I never understood why people do that!!

@@carsofelvis oh. My bad. I meant no offense. I just hate that voice.

No doubt those side pipes look like dog💩.....
Yes, doesn’t really fit such a classy car…
IT'S A GOOD SHOW.
HOWEVER WHY DOES THIS PRESENTATION USE A
SYNTHETIC COMPUTER
GENERATED VOICE?

@@carsofelvis THANKS FOR THE REPLY, I JUST DIDN'T KNOW THESE THINGS 🤔🤔🤔🤔🍺🍻🍻🍺🙂
No problem, I agree with you. I dont like the computer voice either, but it is a compromise I have to make.
