The French have this saying "partir c'est mourir un peu" (from Edmont Haraucourt's 1891 poem). It means "to leave is to die a little". That was a sweet video. Maybe it felt bittersweet. And every time, in the video, Kiwi went that easy in or out the trailer, I thought "wow".

To take on that hectic, tiring cross country journey that you did, then part with a horse that you have bonded with so much, and love so much, takes a lot of intestinal fortitude..!! and you got it in spades..!! It is so difficult not to cry and show our sad emotions as we place them in their new home. We know it is the best for them, we know if we show that emotion it will frighten or confuse them. Hard to hold it together until we get around the corner. You did an amazing job with and for Kiwi.
That long look she gave you, broke my heart💔. You are amazing what you do with these mustangs and clearly they love you for it. Man I would be a mess saying goodbye. Driving across the country. To deliver her, just right on. I can't find enough good words for it. You simply rock !

I am very new to your channel. The new owner for Kiwi sounds like she is a follower of Warwick Schiller's, referring to Relaxation, Connection and focus instead of going straight to riding. If you can capture your horses respect and attention and make a trust bond through all of that the riding will come easy. Can I ask you where Camille came up with the name Kiwi? I am interested because I am in New Zealand. I'm a Kiwi!
