Nice video! Can I ask the name of the tool on the top of the screen at 5:50? I saw you used that for the whiskers of beagle. I just started learning how to sketch animals, so I'm looking for a useful tool for white whiskers since white pencil really can't do a job on that. Many thanks in advance!
Sure! It’s the craft knife slice tool. It has a ceramic blade on the end, which you can use to remove pigment and create super fine details and pull out highlights. Do you print your reference photos off on to glossy prints? Or just do it off a digital formate etc?
Using a digital reference photo, I print it out to scale on normal printer paper (not glossy) xx
