1) ice cubes in soft towel -just gently rub on ur face

Please dont use lemon on skin. I know it's natural but it messes up the ph balance of your skin. It can cause photosensitivity so when you go out in sun, you're skin is going to get burned especially if you live in India. Same goes with tomatoes because they're acidic and acidic doesnt do well with skin. That's why dermatologists tell us to avoid these products. Remember, just because something is natural doesn't mean it's good and just because something is chemical, doesn'tmean it's bad. Unfortunately, it took me a long time to figure that out. I would use lemon, sugar scrubs, and coconut oil on my skin but over time my skin got worse. Many people want to believe that natural products are good on skin but most of the time they can irritate skin. However, things like Aloe vera, green tea, and clay masks( for oily skin) have been proven to work well on skin. I think most people in india want lighter skin so they use lemon but don't use sunscreen at the same time, so when they go outside they get even darker because of the burn from lemon. I think prevention is key. Best thing anyone can do is wear sunscreen and it doesn't matter how light or dark you are. 70% of wrinkles and lines are caused due to sun exposure. People shouldn't use sunscreen in hopes that they'll have lighter skin, but to protect their skin from sun. And she's right about avoiding skincare with fragrance and alcohol in them because it can irritate our skin. And those exfoliating scrubs are bad too because of the years it can cause hyperpigmentation as they create micro scratches on face that are seen as you age. Let's all educate ourselves about skincare. It's good to know what you are putting on your skin rather than following trends

@@varshaahuja8115 thank you for listening. I have used lemon too and use it did lighten but I probably won't use it every again. Because the ph of the acid in it is tok high. I would rather use a serum that has vitamin c and is ph balanced so that my skin doesn't get burned. My sister followed a so called homeopathy doctor's video on how to make a mask and guess what? My sister's face broke out it hives. Her face burned so bad it hurt and it took a day for it to go away. She stopped using DIY face masks and natural ingredients. Now she just removes her makeup, uses tretnoin and a good moisturizer and her skin looks so clear.
U are correct. My skin became dark after using lemon 🍋(hands) my hands are darker and white bcz where I have applied lemon 🍋 and sugar as scrub.....
