Good material, really helps me control my noob impulses to mess up a match lol .. now I'm more committed to learning how to read the battlefield as I play gurdian.
I tried your build and Tbh i feel like a multi-aura build is better. Lotus sickle is nice but feel so squishy to magicals with compassion & lotus early with just a prophetic that isn't stacked. With assassins getting an early game pen nerf, I started to see a lot of magical junglers roaming around so most team comps from what I have seen are 3 magical and 2 physicals rn. Sentinels embrace, prophetic cloak, gauntlet of thebes, glad shield, amulet of stronghold then you have an open slot to build anything because you'll be already cap prots and the auras are constant instead of having to use your 1 because some gods can immune or dodge that ability so you don't get healed or provide prots. With this build you are cap both protections without even having to finish prophetic with just 9 physical stacks and your last slot is completely flexible to counter build so you can go relic dagger for the health cdr and more spamming of relics or a chronos pendant to cripple every 8 seconds or divine ruin against healing comps etc.
