Will it rain inside with all the open spaces? Are you going to paint the walls in the house to cover up the imperfections?
Yes to both questions. It's interesting managing the weather here - we don't get frequent rain, but when it comes, it's intense. So I'm aiming to balance good air flow with rain protection. I'm planning strategically, considering which directions typically bring rain, so I may not need to close off every opening.
As for painting, I'll be starting with our house first, then moving on to the gazebo. I'm really looking forward to seeing how both structures transform with a fresh coat of paint!
Curious about the homeschooling. Do we have a government curriculum for homeschooling ama what do you use?
Good job on the classroom
Thank you! It was a very good decision for us and the girls love it! About the gvt curriculum, the short answer is no. Kenya does not have a clear curriculum for homeschoolers. However, as a parent, you have a plethora of options you can choose from. I use the current CBC (because I do standardized testing), but I have removed and added a few things to accomodate for other curriculums, as well as my kids' interests.
@@DIYKenyaAnd do they do a national examination after finishing the grades
We also homeschool but we use the Cambridge system. My kids live it and they really enjoy. We transitioned them from.CBC earlier this year. @DIYKenya
@@sarahngugi2779for us they will seat for the exams at end of each key stage..if you want to homeschool just do lot's of research and look at what your kids need. That will guide you on the system to choose. There are so many of them. Just research.
@@elizamuriuki9442 Awesome! I have not really looked at the Cambridge system but I'll make sure to do that. Do you have materials you can send over through email so I can take a look?
Good Stuff! looks good
Thank you man 💪
Appreciate it.
