- Emory University was site of a clash between pro-Palestinian protesters and and law enforcement on Thursday morning.
The day started with dozens of people joining with other major universities across the country calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
Officers from the Atlanta Police Department and Georgia State Patrol were brought in to help Emory police remove the protesters from the university's property. The officers used Tasers and tear gas to bring the crowd under control. Several people were placed in handcuffs and loaded into vans. Police reportedly arrested both students and faculty members.
At this time, it is unknown if they will be charged.

Rising fuel, food, housing, utilities & the Corporations refuse to pay us living wages. The great replacement theory is real & is happening in real time right before our eyes. Americans have just become too lazy to do anything about it themselves. We require push back. A civil war. It has to happen. Else government walks all over us & we are the people who keep government in working order. They piggybacked our incomes and run our nation like it is a god D cartel.
