Diving into enriching watershed experiences at WJCC Schools

WJCC Schools 4th grade students and teachers took a deep dive into enhanced watershed experiences during this school year made possible through an outpouring of community support. Classroom lessons and culminating field trips to the James River Association’s education center wove science and history lessons together. Students enjoyed rich and engaging experiences thanks to grants provided by Dominion Energy, Williamsburg Community Foundation and National Park Foundation and collaborations with educators from the James River Association and U.S. Park Service.
