Thank you for continuing to make these videos. Not only are they great to monitor the junk wax market, but they are also super informative. I know they probably take a lot of time to make, but the effort is greatly appreciated!
As I've said before, your videos are spot on. You know what is going on on sports cards collecting in the hobby world. I'm beginning to find my stuff on your videos, and that makes me happy 😊😊😊 keep up the good work.
I was like hey, that Roy mask card looks familiar…….oh ya, that’s because it’s mine lol. 😂.Nice to see a card that I feel I got a great deal on make the bonus card list. That’s pretty neat! I have the French version as well but it’s raw. Although, raw cards don’t offend me, I’ve been around long enough to know when a card is in bad shape, I may have to send that one in to SGC as well. It would make for a nice 2 card set having both versions graded by SGC.
You missed some really nice Goalie sales unfortunately. There was a Martin Brodeur 1996 Mirror Red PSA 10 that sold for $330 (I was really disappointed I was outbid on it) and also a 96 Mirror Gold Grant Fuhr PSA 10 that sold for $260 that I was really happy to win for the PC.
His era only stretches from 1987-1995. I as well, wish he would stretch the listings to at least 1999. There are some gold UD Choice Starquest parallels that go for huge money. I found a 1998-99 Brodeur gold numbered to 100 raw in a large lot of hockey cards at a garage sale for $25 a few years back and it sold for over $1000.
The Classic hot boxes were just that, hot boxes where every card in the box were either inserts or specially marked printers proof parallels and with the Rheaume card, only inserted in those boxes. You also, depending on the product, got more autos. The problem was that Classic labeled each Hot Box on the front with a sticker so dealers could raise the price and separate them from the regular boxes. They are still fun to open if people don’t try to sell them for too much online.
old vid, but for those who come across and watch-->the Sakic looked like a 'Tembec test' back (lighter+easier to read back). this is a rather special/rare card so it shouldn't be confused with the regular OPC Sakic card.
No way.. I have that Gretzky card in the spot. Should have protected them better throughout the years. Have several Gretsky, Lemieux, Jagr etc. Had some of the others.

I recall back then that was supposed to be the big "rare" find. I have the English one still. Lol
The Mask finally makes an appearance! What a steal. Tha is a super hard grade, very iconic card imo

You should make a 2024 top 25 Hockey JunkWax era video ❤your Hockey videos
There is major difference in price if Canadian and if PSA 10
Awesomeness
Have you changed the schedule for Hockey to every two weeks?
Yes, the videos are every two weeks.

Hey Playboy 👋
I have some of those hockey cards
basically the cost of grading
Should make a top 10 not named Mario or Wayne !
Jagr French seemed cheap. I think that should be the marquee rookie, much lower pop then the rest.
I thought 80's were pre-junk wax?? Just saying.
