Hi nice work intend to build same tachometer but one thinks one to ask, if you replace ir sensor with hall effect sensor have to put different code and different wire diagram? thanks

The recording of old time should come after the code that sends the results to the display as the program delay is also being included in the calculation. Move the recording of the previous/old time to the line before attaching the interrupt for a more accurate result.

Hi man. Super video, easy to understand. I have just one question. When you use Delay and the program takes some time too I think you can´t divide by 60000 but with some smaller number (minus delay and minus some time of the program). Or (if not) tell me why mi professional RPM meter shows smaller rotates than the arduino meter? :)

i just make same as it is but i think that it is show more rpm than the actual one
because i have 1400 rpm motor but as i measure the rpm with this it is showing me 4300 around
This could be due to a prob with your sensor or there is some spot on the the shaft of the motor that blocks the transmission too.
Get a new soldering tip ;-)
