The other day i tried the 20" Rotiform TUF-Rs that i have from my MK7 Golf R Wagon on my Mk4 Golf 4Motion.

Wheels were 8.5 et45, with 20mm adapters, so final et of 25.

Yeah. Because for the last 12 years it was my daily. But I agree, it would be better if it was a 3 door and it would have been if I went out my way to buy one to modify.
@@Mexicanfab Don't mind me. I have a pet peeve about VW discontinuing the 2-door (or three if you prefer). A true GT car by definition is a 2-door. I just hate that you cannot get a 2-door even if you special order one. G'rr.

@@RobertDavisAdman I totally agree, but you could see it coming with the mk7 and 7.5, how VW were preparing for the end of a 2/3 door golf.

They are wheels I already had from another project. Plus my mk4 4motion was longest service car on the fleet.

Can I just put 20” strait on with no spacers? What size tyre? I don’t know much but The wheels i want are 20” I just have a basic mk4 tdi ans rather not use adapter/spacers
You’ll need to work out the offsets/fitment. Only reason I used spacers/adapters was because the offset was too high for this platform (as they came off my mk7 golf R), and the bolt pattern wasn’t right. So the adapters sorted that out.
@@Mexicanfabhi sorry to bother you again. But Iv finally found some wheels I really want. Problem is is they are 5/112 19rim and they are 9” wide and I don’t want a stretch tire look. So I’d want 235/35/19 I think? No idea what adapter/spacer thickness I’d need(min poss)These are the wheel speck. @@tamsingroves You’ll struggle with that tyre size if you want to lower the car much, but if it’s only lowered a little it might work.
As for adapters, I would go probably 20/25mm.
As they are 9s, you need to check inner clearance.
Mine were 8.5 et25 after the adapter to give you a bit of guidance.

Only trialed them, but @Taxi_ on IG has them on his S3 now, so maybe ask him. I think they look amazing.

These are 20x8.5 et45 with 20mm spacer. So making them final et25.

What are the MM thinkness on the adapters on the Audi wheels?
TT wheels has 12mm spacer on the rear only. The 20” Rotiforms had 20mm adapters all around.
What’s the tire size ?
These were 225/30/20s
The size of the wheels are 20x9,5 right ?
