  • If you fish at night (where legal) and want a DIY marker float, you need to add a marker buoy light to my earlier solution. Build your own marker float kit with a few plastic bottles, and some stuff from the Dollar Store. I show my marker float setup for night - it's a cheap way to make a fishing buoy marker!

We use the light sticks to mark our catfish jugs at night.

I was gonna say the exact same thing. The lake where I used to do that would look like a runway for aircraft. LOL

Have you done a video on adding a measuring tape to your Kayak for checking the length of your fish? I've purchased a sewing tape and adding adhesive to the back. You can buy adhesive backed measuring tape but I think the sewing tape will be more durable and easier than carrying a separate measuring stick. Just an idea for another video.

@@jerrystephenson1172 good solution, I have a pedal drive so I keep my paddle strapped in, I'm thinking I'm going to run mine along the inside wall of the kayak just for quicker access.

I fish in open bays and need to know where the channel is. Using my Deeper Sonar, I can find the channel, drop a light, and cast back to it/around it.
