30:30 - There (Swiss Cottage) was my station during the beautiful month I spent in London in 2016. I still miss it often. And every time I deal with traffic here in the US I definitely miss having a mostly reliable public transit system.
Swiss Cottage was my station during my two weeks abroad in London and I also miss it frequently. Had a wonderful time there and cannot wait to go back!

They really improved the section between Baker Street and Bond Street though. It's going really fast and it decelerates really well at Baker Street too.
I love how the train doors close and the sound that comes to the station and when the train leaves the station and i was like OMG ITS SO BEAUTIFUL when i went to london

The Jubilee Lines 1996 TS is able to reach 100 km/h (62 mph). I think it drives also on the Jubilee Line Extension area with 100 km/h in some parts
Now I Know why there's a barrier at one of the escalator endings at Canada Water. It's leading to the closed London Overground platforms (not in service). But I dont think it'll be there anymore cuz Night Overground is here :)
I remember the jubilee line got up to the full 62mph between neasden and Wembley park . I had my speedometer app on at the time

I honestly don't think these trains needed a refurbishment as much as say the C stock did, or the 92 stock does
when these trains are taken out of service (hopefully never) they MUST be upcycled and keep their motor to operate somewhere

In fact it depends on the route , where turns are as these slow trains down so he northern isnt necessarily the slowest

The jubilee line train noises are amazing
And they have the cool modern gates
And the North Greenwich station is so much more modern compared to the others
My first experience on the underground was starting at North Greenwich station near where we were staying and I thought man these look cool but all the others stations aren’t PURPLE BOOO
Because from Green Park onwards is the extension
Bryner Apple yeah but like only North Greenwich has the purple station so that must’ve been like the newest or the last station to be built from the extension
And it needs to accommodate the crowd after the event finishes as that's the station to the 02 arena

This train line is now automatic btw so the driver basically just presses 2 buttons then you go and it stops by it self

TIB442R they do have the Btp (British transport police) patrol the railways at night in case of an incident/accident including drunk people etc.

It's weird that when I go to Swiss cottage from Waterloo, at Westminster towards Stanmore, the doors open on the right, and on the way back at the same station, the doors open on the left
The platforms are on top of each other so the they are basically the same just on top meaning they open on different sides

The generated voice was done by Ceila Drummond who sadly passed away this year due to the virus. R.I.P.

Shawn Chong Runs on the North East Line, The trains in the Jubilee Line and the North East Line are both from Alstom, so they used the same traction control. Which also means same engine sound! 😃

I tjink the bakerloo and picc are slower cause the have a not as good signalling and 2 oldest rolling stock on tube whereas Vic central northern jube are newer becuase the have upgraded signalling and newer fleet 1992,1995,1996&2009 fleet
Orlando Norman The Northern is actually still the slowest deep level tube line interestingly. Even with the Bakerloo and Piccadilly lines having trains that are 20 years older.
Achually it depends on the route as turns often slow trains and how long the route is so the Northern line isnt necessarily the slowest
