    Hi Riya! Great video.
I recently stumbled across your channel on TH-cam and find your commitment to helping students achieve their goals extremely admirable! I'm currently a sophomore in highschool (will be a junior very soon in around 3 months). I was just introduced to the USACO a couple of days ago and would love to get into competitive programming. One of my goals is to achieve USACO Platinum by the last contest of the season for USACO in my Junior Year.
I do have coding experience (fluent in Python, JS) and have dabbled in HTML and CSS. I've heard C++ is better for CP though, and I'm not fluent in it. Because of this, I'm not 100% sure if this goal of getting to Platinum in around 10 months without having ever competed in the USACO would be attainable. Since summer is coming up soon, I'm willing to put in 3+ hours a day to prepare for the USACO and 1-2 hours a day during the school year.
Do you think this would be a realistic goal for me to have?
    Thanks so much!!

Two months have passed, so I am not sure you're still into it.
Anyway, competitive programming is a mathematical discipline not an engineering one. So it doesn't matter that much if you enjoy and succeed in learning html, css, python.
As far as CP is concerned, you will just need some very basic knowledge of a single language, preferably C++.
That said, if you like CP and will regularly spend time training, reaching USACO Platinum is a very reasonable target.

Hello, Arora, would you help me with the USACO schedule? The website says it is from 5/23 to 6/1. Does this mean the coach will pick students up in Atlanta on 5/23, and students leave Atlanta on 6/1? Thank you!

Yes but please wait until you get an email from Brian Dean before booking travel. He will send you the details of when the flights should be closer to the start of camp. It is usually quite close to the beginning of camp, so don't worry if you haven't gotten that email yet.
