@@Veebat Yeah i have mixed feelings on the X, it' a nice upgrade and i get the convenience of being able to just throw them in as replacement for the older aircraft with out having to retrain all the maintenance crew and pilots on a new airframe, and you don't have to spend the money on over hauling the aircraft facilities for a new type. But I would have rather seen that money go towards more F-35As and speeding up the F-15E upgrades. The F-35 is cheaper to buy and operate and is designed to operate on the future battlefields. The F-15X can really only do two thing better, high speed dash and has a slightly longer range (thanks to nearly 26,000lbs of fuel with all the EFTs and CFTs full). But we gotta keep Boeing alive for future fighter development, and the Navy looks to be moving away from new build super hornets sooner than was thought 2 years ago.
Mmm, those 20mm cannons look nice. Are they like the cannons on the F2G? Or the cannons on the F6U? Or are they unique? Edit, nvm you answered in video lol
Hey Vee, great review on that plane. Looks really nice! Another quick question :) How can you change pilots and they have 100% on several planes? If I change the pilot and train it for another plane he's back at 50% on the previous one? Thanks!
Today's F-15 started development in the mid 1960's first flew in 1972 and was declared IOC in 1976.
Mr. GeforcerFX have you seen the F-15X?! That thing is great. And all the R&D was paid for from other countries upgrades.
