- We spent the weekend at a new resort called Oceans RV Resort in Holly Ridge, NC. This campground is about 4 miles from Topsail Island, which has several beaches including Surf City and Ocean City, a historical beach which, in the 1940's, was one of the only areas that African Americans were allowed to own property, even beach front property. American history that we are now being told to forget. Oceans is a small to medium sized resort with few amenities. Will we stay here again? Thanks for watching and Happy Camping!

Enjoyed the presentation. The Carolinas are great.
Thank you and Happy Camping!
Nice review and you got our Airstream in the video!
Thank you and thanks for watching. I've never seen an Airstream that I didn't think was beautiful. Happy Camping!
👍🏾
Thank you for watching!
We like to surf fish and pier fish. This looks like it would be a good base camp to go down to the water to fish. Great review buddy👍
Ya. I saw a decent amount of free parking on the island. There was a ton of traffic leaving the island on Saturday morning, so if stay on the island until 1ish, maybe it'll clear up by then.
Thanks for the review. Nice drone footage.
Thanks for watching
I’ve read on one of the camping groups that there is a waste water treatment facility nearby or behind it so maybe that was the smell y’all noticed. Thanks for the review!
Thanks for the info. It wasn't all day, I guess it depended on the wind. Thanks for watching.
Hey. Buddy
Hello
What beer did you bring with you this weekend?
Nice question. Decided against it for the weekend. We're heading out again in 10 days, so stay tuned. 😁
@@FTRV Have a safe trip!.....and always enjoy!!
So you like Hilton Head better then Carolina pines?
Yes, not as packed. Larger sites. Trees for shade. Not overrun with golf carts. Less expensive. Nice and responsive staff, and they answer the phone. Negatives: no hot tub, no indoor pool. Adult only section has a hot tub though, so a couple more years for that.
Would a 45 ft class A fit in the sites ?
Yes, our 5th wheel is 43 ft, so there is plenty of room. It was tight backing in though.
