Lingyi has changed so much. He's playful now/it's hilarious. Shiyi is forever trying to runaway....lol I love how he's preventing her from getting out of bed. The Marquis is smart. He let her sleep in his room/now she's there to help him put on his clothes. It's a vast difference from when she was helping him take a bath. You can tell how comfortable she is taking care of him now. They have amazing non verbal communication. She is good for him.
Concubine Qin is so excited about raising Fengqing. It's unfortunate that her lack of experience/education is counting against her. I understand Lingyi's reservations about letting her raise him. He witnessed first hand that she doesn't have a clue how to chastise him. She had a hard time connecting with him as well. Lingyi is trying to do what's best for him/at this point it doesn't look like Qin is the right fit. Shiyi is very observant/she saw the connection between Yizhen/Fengqing. She seems to be the right choice to raise him.
Shiyi is so funny, she can't understand how she could let her guard down, fall asleep and end up in her husband's arms. I wonder what she was more afraid of: Lingyi or her feelings for him? Well, Lingyi solved his problem with the gift, now he knows exactly what Shiyi will like and what she cannot refuse. He now has a "tactical" advantage, he does not allow her to get out of bed. Huge progress in his behavior, he teases her. She is so cute when she gets angry at his antics.

@@Irynash11 yes, Shiyi was super adorable when she realized that she was in his embrace. The man had a plan/it worked...lol He was very strategic in his actions. He failed the last time he wanted to spend the night with her/this time he was not going to fail. His playfulness was too cute. She can't guard against his adorable/fun loving nature which only comes out with her. So Lingyi has been undressed by Shiyi/she's also dressed him. He's started to get closer to seeing some real action....lol
They were in total sync when they were observing Fengqing with Qin/Lianfang. When they saw how Yizhen handled him they both knew right away that she was the best option. Plus the way that Fengqing responded to her sealed the deal. They were already connected. Yizhen was a mother without a child/Fengqing was a child without a mother. It was the only option for the both of them.
Lianfang wasn't on either of their radars. They wouldn't trust her with a child after what she did to Zhun. The GM is the only idiot willing to entrust a child with her. Lingyi was absolutely right Lianfang is too selfish. She would never be able to put Fengqing's needs above her own desires. She was trying to use him to get closer to Lingyi. The GM knew her reasoning behind request/she was still willing to give Fengqing to her. The GM was stupid because she knew that Fengqing wasn't Lingyi's son so he would have NO reason to visit Lianfang. Seriously she's the worst matriarch EVER.
