সে শহরের অলিতে গলিতে কত না রূপকথা বোনা হয় রোজ। কত হৃদয় প্রেমে ডুবে যায়, কত হৃদয় খানখান হয়ে ভাঙে। কত হাসি কান্নার সাক্ষী হয়ে থাকে বুড়িগঙ্গার স্রোত। তবু সে শহর বেঁচে থাকে সে আনন্দ বেদনায়, সে আলস্যে ব্যস্ততায়, সে শোকে উচ্ছ্বাসে। দুপুরে বাতাসে ভেসে আসে মন কেমনের গন্ধ। মনে পড়ে ফেলে আসা তেহারির স্বাদ। মনে পড়ে মা ঠাকুমার কথা। নাজ়মাদি আজ নিজ হাতে রান্না করবেন সে তেহারি। সবার জন্যে। সাথে থেকো।
