Every time you test slugs, always compare them to pellets at the same range, and reduce the number of scope adjustment until you can confirm it is grouping properly - changing after 2 shots carries risk you are adjusting for fliers
Hi , just watched your ' best group ever at 50 yards ' I have some jsb knockout slugs 10.5 grain but I'm too afraid to put them in my sub 12 gun in case they get stuck in the barrel 😕
No matter which way you look at it ( and it has to be looked at ) yer not gonna beat good old lead pellets in an air rifle ... got a little stock of em , just in case ..
pretty much similar results with the zan through the red wolf . not lead free not tried those (bit pricey) but lead ones 25 yard pretty much the same hole group . 50 yard not so good but i think it’s just lack of power for the longer distances the drop is pretty big so it’s more like your using a mortar than a rifle 🤣🤣🤣 so dropping them in all over the place
Yes, they lack the power of a pellet from the start. You need an FAC rated rifle to get them moving, and the non lead are even worse, due to the bigger surface area. The longer length of the lead free seemed to be more accurate, but lacked the power by about 1 1/2 foot pounds over the lead slug. The most accurate slug that I have shot to date was the Mako 10.5 grain slug at 50 yds through my Falcon Prairie with 5 out of 6 shots within a 10mm group, better than most pellets. It's a shame rarely. You can get a rarely tight group out of ten shots, but have three or four flyers to upset things. Maybe single shot loading is the way to go.

They should be OK they are a smaller diameter than most.
