When speaking about his 2024 album, Zayn discusses the new sound of 'ROOM UNDER THE STAIRS', the inspiration behind its title, and its first single 'What I Am'. Zayn also reveals how he had the idea to do a country style album many years ago.

@@AndrewWes2005 huh wdym😂 he's not even ethnically from the middle east or anyth He's half white-British half pakistani although his south asian name and south asian appearance makes that not so easy to guess. But they were calling him a cowboy cz he lived in a PA farm since 2018 and his 4th album Room Under the Stairs (out 17th May 24) is gonna be country genre ish. And its so different from all his other pop/R&B/even dancehall sounds so every1s saying its like yo he just became a cowboy nw😂 🤠

I think he has to trust the interviewing personalities. He likes these guys so he was vibing. Zayn must be protected at all costs.
I feel he truly went through a era were he felt alienated and hated by everyone especially the media that's why he used to avoid interviews at all costs ....but if they are ppl he can trust he will show his precious self and be very comfortable around them 🥺❤

Zayn new sound is such a departure from his past work but as Sian said, perfect for his voice and the fact that he's writing the songs solo, it feels like such an intimate project for him

It’s so refreshing seeing Zayn being more confident and comfortable in all these interviews.
