Half Day Trekking & Rafting A dawn to afternoon range hiking and rafting program through some of the richest forest tracts of Periyar Tiger Reserve., a mosaic of habitats will be traversed before the party gets into rafts made of bamboos. By rafting you will get a panoramic view of forest-clad hills. Animals like Elephant, Gaur and Sambar deer are sighted keeping close to the edges of the lake. This program works at two slots of 7.30am to 12.30pm & 9.30am to 2.30pm. You will be provided with packed food. The program has 3-4 hours treking and 1 hour rafting. Minimum of 2 persons required per trek Minimum rate is applicable if the number of persons is less than 2 Children below 10 years are NOT allowed for this program Kindly report 15 minutes before the commencement of the program Park Entry & bus charges will be extra Starting location - Tribal Trackers office near Bamboo Grove Mandatory to wear life jackets during the rafting
