    I spray my skin half hour before leaving the house. 5-6 sprays depending on the strength of the fragrance. Behind the ear, back of the neck, shoulders. One on the waistline if I know things will get heavy on a date. XP
    Then spray my shirt sleeves when I leave.

    You’re so right about “knowing your fragrance”. I can only stand two or three sprays of Bleu de Chanel, but I can spray Mont Blanc Legend Spirit about 5 or 6 times.

    Great vid man! My fragrance collection is mainly made up of freshies so I normally go with 5 sprays. One spray on each side of the neck, one spray on the back of my neck and two on each side of the of the shirt around the shoulder area.
    Thanks for sharing your spray routine! 👌🏽

    This was actually very helpful. I also tend to have some rashes on my inner forearms when I spray there, depending on what fragrance I spray. But I oughta try the upper forearms, that's a very good suggestion. I'll try that! Thanks again, Ross!

    Spraying on top of the forearms and hands allows you to not rub off frag if you use a keyboard or rest your arms. Also it will stay on your forearm hair and last longer.

    For me, 1 on each side side of the neck, 1 in front of the neck and 1 behind the neck (if I want to project), 1 inside of each elbow. If I'm wearing a long sleeve, 1 over each pec (or 1 over the sternum if it's strong), and if I just shaved, 1 behind each ear on the bare skin, so I don't spray my freshly shaved neck with alcohol.

    I’m never walking in front of people, so the scent-trail sprays are wasted juice for me. A famous designer once said he sprays his inner thighs for the ultimate in sillage. If a scent is complex, I avoid clothing because it holds on to the top note from start to finish. That can also work well, so it’s variable. I always do varying amounts of sprays on my chest and inner forearms, and figure out the rest from there.

    I'm in the bald club like you (also with beard lol), otherwise i would put perfumes on the hairs on the back of the head.
    I do two on shoulders under the shirt or one on the chest (for me), and then around the neck like you, for weaker stuff i spray some more on my clothes.
    In the office i also spray on the forearms or wirst.
    Under the sun i spray like a crazy under my shirt so it is more protected.

  • @alexandrehomobono7296
    @alexandrehomobono7296 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Yeah, you really gotta know you frags. I think even the quality of the atomizer is key here. For ex, ADG Absolu's atomizer is a monster, while the Boss Bottled line has a much weaker one, so one spray of Absolu = 2/3 sprays of something from the Bottled line

  • @DevsScents
    @DevsScents 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I was looking for this particular video. I seen you was live. I tried to comment on it to get your answer but I couldn't so I went searching through your channel and found this. You have quickly become my go to guy for fragrances. I just started on my fragrance journey (33yo). If you see this comment though I just want you to remember this one part of this comment and only take this away from the comment and that is... "Pancakes" I don't know why or what reason. Just cause it's random. Anyways thank you for the help! Appreciate the work you put in for us. Also I do have one question. Office environment. Close quarters. Budget recommendation? I know about NV. I been eyeing the Afnan Supremacy lineup. Thought about In Heaven and Incense. I know Incense would not be work appropriate. Also thought about that Perry Ellis Pure Blue. Something about that one just calls to me. But I want to get your opinion cause you have way more years and knowledge and I could greatly use that. Thank you in advance especially if this comment gets seen! Also since you're a Saint's man and you workout I don't know if you've heard it yet but "Heart of the City by X-Man" on TH-cam. May pump you up for the pump.

      Somone gave me advice on this, as it happened when I wore Aventus. The advice was to wear less sprays and spray on points further away from your nose. Like back of neck and arms. The chest, side and front of neck are too close to neck. I enjoy wearing Aventus much more now, aS I get to smell it all day now instead of 30 mins😂

      @@TLTGReviews Will I still be able to smell the fragrance that I spray on my chest/solar plexus and stomach through my clothing? ( I don’t usually wear button down dress shirts;) I usually spray behind each ear and the back of my neck, and frequently go anosmic since most of my fragrances are Eau De Parfum or Parfum concentrations? How can I enjoy the nuances and scent progression throughout the day without going noseblind?

    imo, the pulse points is a myth, is not like our blood boils at 90C (humans have constant temperature) and the heart pumping at 100PSI, to make a difference. what i found is that spraying behind the ears work a bit better (not by much, but still) because is more shielded from the elements, but that's about it.
