Ford did try to call the '32 a Model B, but it never caught on, everyone else called it the deuce. Ford Deuce Roadster would have been a better name. Or Ford Highboy Roadster. It's a shame about not being allowed to use flames by Hot Wheels; sounds like a little in-house quarrel. They might be a little jealous of the great hot rod castings Matchbox has been coming out with lately. Scallops are great on hot rods too! I want the '32, the Celica, and the Cutlass.
I do like the Audi. The ground clearance is a bit high, and those dark windows do not suit it, but the crisp casting, the front and rear detail, the separate chrome bumpers, the wheels, and that wonderful metal base just make it great it or me. Good job Matchbox! Tom
The black tinted glass areas on the Audi are an absolute no-go and very disappointing, since I wanted this casting very much. The Mercedes seems not only too small of a casting, very bad details, specially, front grill and bumpers, as well as the rear lights and rear bumper, which are not accurate enough, plus the colour of the rims not matching the body colour. And the BMW is a no-go, because the hood opens the wrong way. I don´t collect the Unimog, because it is not even near a 1/64. Another thing that sucks is the absence of rear view mirrors on most/many castings. Like the Lexus LFA from Matchbox collectors, which I had a chance to get my hands on. No rant here, just the way I see it. Love the 32 Ford. Good video.
I find Mattel is willing to cheap on Matchbox Collections castings. The incomplete decos on models and the grey plastic is a shame. It seems to me once they switched from Superfast the more short cuts they take.
Loving the Matchbox Collectors I love the fact that fact the Matchbox Team did a new casting. It's not perfect though & I have to zonk the vintage models but I'd like to see a Lexus RX or a Maybach 57. Plz reply
Yes, they have owned Matchbox since 96-97. That is an irrelevant point though as they are their own brands respectfully. They do not compete with each other in Mattel's portfolio.
Matchbox and hot wheels are like an abu5ive relationship literally cant have the brand exist how it should without mattel or hot wheels running the show unfortunately.😢
Excellent Matchbox Moving Parts of this banch! You get good stuff Brandon, greetings and happy hunting.

Nice cars 👍
The flame issue makes no sense to me, aren’t they owned by the same parent company? Mattel? Anyway, def some goodies in this case. Nice vid.
OH SNAP!
found 2 cases 10/3/24 at a target. complete except for the bow which was scalped
At least they are hitting!

Agreed. Some of the scaling is hilarious lol
Does anyone know the actual scales?
@@zostavaz They vary. Some castings are too big, like old beetle, Mini, MG..., others too small, like most pickup trucks from mbx.
👍 Thx 🇧🇪
It should say Ford Model A Roadster. And from what photo's I have found the 93 M3 DID open from the front as it is on the diecast.
These are getting harder and harder to find in the retail stores. I picked up a complete set at a Matchbox show in Lebanon, PA over the weekend.
Thank you for showing us these diecast cars we will never see 😢
I knew I wouldn't either so I bought a case. Stores are pointless.

Too many bean counters at Mattel.

You do realize, don't you, that Mattel owns Hot Wheels and Matchbox? 🤔

Weird set... Not attractive at all
It was themed which is odd.
