I work the night shift here in L.A.. It always makes the grind more tolerable when ZA puts a vid out. Nice scheme and customization. Not over bearing at all.
Man you did a beautiful job with the customization! It really gives a military/mercenary/private security tone with the colors and the small details! Great work!
I absolutely love what you have done with this kit! It's my favorite kit next to the ver.ka sazabi. Although it's not released in my country yet (New Zealand) can't wait to get it for myself
Hopefully you'll be able to squeeze in a review of that SIMP 1/100 Origin anti-ship rifle at some point. I'm really waiting on that one. Finally figured out a use for mine, and I'd be happy to see a review before I get serious into that project.
Colors look great, love the orange, I would just like a little bit more separation in the two greens. Subtle is good, just a little less subtle 😉. That is the only thing I would consider changing. It’s a wonderful kit 🤘
Looks awesome! Just as a note, most basic Zeon MS's were using beam weapons/beam melee weapons after the OYW, most Zeon MS had them in Zeta, by the time ZZ came around (0088-0089) all newer Zeon MS's were using beam melee weapons. Even Gelgoogs had beam rifles and beam melee weapons in UC 0079. The messer is from UC 0105.
I love the colors and additions. I've had mine planned out in an off-white and shades of teal scheme ever since it was announced but unfortunately the retailer I pre-ordered it from STILL doesn't have it in stock!!!!
I think the military paint scheme suits the Messer better than the red and tan; it just gives it a sort of "heavy assault" feel to it. My favorite part is the gray (or greenish-gray) stripe on the left shoulder armor, like it's a personal marking of the pilot or MS squad. Great work!
In general I find the colors a little too light and it lacks contrast (maybe because of the top coat as you were saying). But a very good custom still !
Some bigger verniers would look more in scale with the overall heft and bulk of the Messer. Aside from that, excellent work especially the paint job, it's so clean!
I just realized this is the one in USA gundam store shop display case. I have to say their lightning really didn’t do it justice, I never noticed any of those details when checking it out in person.
How did you do such a clean tape job on the shoulder to get around curves? Also do you just paint over the photo-etch parts as the same color as the piece your painting?
You don’t need to pay me, it would be cheaper and a better experience for you to do it yourself! I showed how to do everything in the WIP videos so give it a go!
I can't speak for how he does it but it ultimately depends on the build. For example, diorama or battle damage builds are usually static from what I've seen. My builds are really just recolors as I'm still kinda new to painting but they can still be posed. Different people build differently.
@@Zach_Walker I didnt think of it like that...u make a good point. I guess I just see some of these custom paint jobs and builds hes done that arent diaramas and was always curious if they could still be posed
@@relmofvoid8646 sometimes simple recolors can't be posed. Sometimes the paint is too fragile or the primer doesn't adhere to the plastic right so it comes off when you try to move it. It's especially common on joints and weapons because of friction between parts. Strong primer and good topcoat are key from my experience. I have a MG Jegan recolor that kept pealing when I tried to assemble it after the paint and the first couple topcoats dried. I had to re-prime, re-paint, and re-topcoat those parts and never did figure out what went wrong. It added another 2 days to the project. My MG GM Sniper 2 worked out A LOT better though with minimal issues. If you get into painting my recommendation is to start with a HG, preferably something simple like mass-production grunt since they're usually cheaper so it won't hurt your wallet if you screw it up. I offer the same advice for eventually moving to MGs.
Is it just me, or does the logo that appears in a few places look exactly like the logo of defunct professional wrestling company chikara? EDIT: I'm completely wrong. Thank you!
ah i see now why the swordhandle looks slightly bent. But still it looks very badass, lets just say the enemy just slashed it bent the handle abit. hehe
Hot damn that's a slick looking suit, fantastic paint job (。•̀ᴗ-)✧. Though those are called Sturm Faust. Sorry to be a butt about that, just been playing a lot of GBO2 and I love any suit that has those lol.

that sword design is VERY poor, the rest of the kit is awesome however
@@ZakuAurelius Yeah, not ready to strike or chop the enemy. Just resting. Most swordsmen are ready to strike. Look at images of Guts from Berserk and Cloud from Final Fantasy. The Samurai are always ready to strike even in a resting position. Thank you for the reply, love your work!

The matte finish is such a good touch, love the colours and concept
Love the design and colors on this 😍
That looks dope as hell, love all of the small details and the paint job! Great Job!
I love this kit. This makes me want to customize my own. Well done! I also appreciate how informative you are.
Huge improvement over the base colors.

You’ll love it! Worth the wait

I’ll try! I’ve got one on hand but no plans at the moment for it
Probably my favorite custom you have made so far
After enjoying hundreds of OOB straight build of yours, this is a nice pleasant surprise! Than you.
That came out gorgeous. I love the less saturated colors. Looks very gritty, in a good way. Honestly reminds me a little bit of a Gelgoog
a lot more realistic and a lot less toy colors
I really love your works bro. It really gives me hope to try customizing my kits someday .
That sword is actually a large heat saber used with Guy Helmuth's Rick Dom II.
This turned out amazing! Love the colours, weapons and all the details you added.
Great work! Love the finish on this.. super clean! 😍
Thanks Kamm!

nice. Gives me a Geara Doga vibe. The best kinds of zeon mobile suits are the ones with a massive weapons loadout.
Nice man
This seems like a popular color scheme

That looks fantastic!

WOW....Awesome Love the design and colors.
Really cool! Gonna try this color scheme on my next zeon kit.
Paint job and details look very good!
Good work! But it look like a mass production type rather than a custom type.
You did a really good job on this. The color palette is good and the details are great!
Oh wow. Those colors look great!
love your custom works. let's see more! nice color separation on this
That ms has a very cool design the paint job make it even better
Really good job painting and finishing.
It's hard to commit to fully painting something 😁
I got one of the first rifles they made, a sniper rifle and a giant bazooka from SIMPro. They do great work.
I love what you did with this
Love WIP videos. Can't wait for the next project!

It turned out realy nice. love the colors
I like the color choices but I think I would have inverted the green and grey myself.
The stripe on the shoulder is fire, bro!
Thanks!
Nicework , i would be cool if latter you paint an incandescent effect to the sword
Fantastic build as always dude!
so sweet color scheme!
Oh damn it came out real good 😲
Pretty nice work, congratulation.
Why is the original color of the messer not like this?. I like the color composition especially a little bit of orange
I bet they'll come out with several variants of the hg messer over time...
If I have a Messer and is capable of customizing gunpla, I might color it to Lt. Messer Siegfried Colors in Macross Delta just for names sake.
Some bigger verniers would look more in scale with the overall heft and bulk of the Messer. Aside from that, excellent work especially the paint job, it's so clean!
I wish I could build a Messer like this. Yours is absolutely inspirational! I need one
Amazing work as always!
Thanks bro
I remember the Astray no Name grabbing that sword once in the first Build Divers. Might've been larger, but perhaps this was the right size.
Dude whats there to critique, it looks amazing 👏 great job.
Great work man! Love the color scheme too. The spikes though are not to my taste.
What's the background music? I like it.
Love that matte finish on the messer it makes me just want to touch it
Was the heat sword hard to glue? Especially the blade part at the end?
Nah not really
I just realized this is the one in USA gundam store shop display case. I have to say their lightning really didn’t do it justice, I never noticed any of those details when checking it out in person.
Indeed it’s the same! Haha
Came out Fantastic
Would love this in Master Grade

Took a few pieces of tape but not that hard! And yes, paint over PE parts
@@ZakuAurelius Do you draw any lines or just eye balled it while taping?
Just eyeballed it! 😁
Bro this build is fire
Awesome build. Great job man.
I'd hate to be in proximity of this thing.
Love the colors
BRILLIANT! How much would you charge to mod my Messer like this? Thank you in advance. :)

My god I wanted this without the paint but now I want it more
Smoooootthhh orange accents SICK
love your works man! good shhhhhhhit♥
Damn this custom gunpla is sick!
Shows up
Blows up shit
Refuses to elaborate
Leaves
Basically this Messer when using its grenades
I love that sword man
I'm always curious...when u customize these kits can they still be articulated? or are they put in a static pose?

Yeah I just don’t wanna risk scratching any paint accidentally. I build my painted projects with the intention to have them displayed in one pose only

where did you get the decal? they looks cool
As mentioned in the video they are all from HiQ
This should be an ace pilot MS! 👍👍
Sooo Cooollllll......good work bro!!👍👍
Dose that sword come with this kit if not where can i find it?
It’s a SIMP resin option weapon set. I think I showed it in the WIP video

This is what exactly happened if "Marchosias" member survive One Year War 👍🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Nice Color Scheme!!
Only "critique" not really a critique, the sticker on the right shoulder is too high up in my opinion, everything else looks amazing :D
Looks awesome, but shouldn't he hold the sword with the blade facing the opposite direction? It looks like he's chopping his own shoulder hahaa
The real terror would be to change the armor, somehow. But the paint was great.
awesome build!
i really hate it when that giant sword smacks me in GBO2 😆
what type of glue do you use for the stickers?
None, waterslide decals have an adhesive agent on them already

Ah yeah for the monoeye. Just a bit of superglue
Awesome 👏

awesome job! messer more like cleaner amirite
If only this kit was in Gundam Breaker 4.
Messer is the kind of mobile suit that always look good no matter how you customize it
probably piloted by Guts from Berserk or Cloud from Final Fantasy 7, lol.

dope
