Otherwise she will be forgotten in couple of years by Malayalees which would be a shame. Tamil audience doesn't respect actresses for their talent. Malayalam is the best content oriented industry in India. She should be smart and do both Malayalam and Tamil.

@@Phoebes8391 Sorry to say this, but most tamil people accept malayalee girls due to the 'Kerala Ponnu da' fetish rather than for acting. Nithya menon is an exception and she was never really accepted by Kerala public like Mamitha or Nazriya. There are lot of other malayalee actresses who have left for Tamil like Nayanthara who where known for their glamour rather than acting. We love Manju warrier way more than Nayanthara or Asin because Manju had memorable roles in malayalam and we consider her as our own. Mamitha has now gained all this fame and acceptance because of malayali audience. I would be very disappointed if she uses this opportunity as just a stepping stone for her career to leave for Tamil. That's the only thing I meant. She can balance out both languages.

First off most of the top tier heroine roles are still bagged by kannada / bollywood girls and most of the performance oriented roles in tamil mosty go to malayali actresses. whether its Manju warrier, Aparna, Malavika mohanan, Aishu, Nithya, Nimisha, Anna ben. dnt know if you follow tamil cinema but i request you to stop assuming things based on stupid online memes. nobody even cares whether the actor is mallu, kannadiga, telugu etc. Also the recent vijay movie that bombed had telugu actress as heroine. so tamil cinema hires actors all over india. Tamil cinema has brought 2 national awards for ur actresses which even malayalam cinema could not do in the last 5 years. dnt whine
