I remember in the Malcolm X movie where a W woman at the university ask him if she can help in their movement. He refused. Just shows you how much they needed to be tied to any Black movement so they can catapult their own movement.
That's why I never watched that movie Dangerous Minds with Michelle Phifer. A Becky in the hood trying to correct the blk and brown students and get them to act right? Nah, that concept never sat well with me... the whole concept of the wyte savior.
Its unfortunate that no BM wrote about their experiences in this organization. The feminists made it seem like BM weren't qualified for the positions that they had, and didn't work as hard as the women.
Imam Jamil El Amin spoke in both of his books about his time in SNCC and how it missed the mark in his estimation as he went on after his time away to clean Atlanta’s West End until they hunted and framed him..
Sensei BGS, this is a brilliant literature dig. Thank you for bringing this out. Drs. Johnson and Curry sent me diving into Sidanius and Pratto's Social Dominance book over the last few months. They state that gender-based dominance systems [sexism] and what they call "arbitrary set systems" [racial, ethnic, religious, behavioral groups, and focused on subordinate males] are different. Gender based systems never get to the "kill them all" level of structure and violence, since functioning wombs have value. Believing that all are the same leads to bad strategies and outcomes on all sides. This gets completely twisted like the blind women describing an elephant.

There’s no university on the face of the planet, that drops as much knowledge as BGS! A true treasure!!!

I’m learning so much about the history of this country. Thank you for your service. BGS!!
I'm sure that the feminist movement also had an effect on The Black Panther Party.
And the blk church... and the blk school. They want to control the community with feminist thought.
It did actually 💯 true look into it.
Look up the book: “A taste of power” by Elaine Brown. Thank me later 😂
Pure Gold.
Much appreciated BGS

The first time I learned about the subversion of the Civil Rights Movement by Feminism was Dr. Bobby E. Wright.
