I feel the phoenix pairs well with a hero that can't get stuck on walls. Imagine wasting the Phoenix revive banging at a wall then dying again. If it can't pair with the RC (cos of the spirit fox), then pair it with GW. With equipments, you'll actually get extra value from the fact that he gets revived
It's more of how the Phoenix would come in clutch if the hero died unexpectedly. A Phoenix reviving the BK that attacks a wall means he's already gotten the value that he was supposed to. But if your BK dies cos the DMG was just too much and your funnel is incorrectly formed, it would just ruin the rest of the attack. That's why it's preferred on BK
The GW isn't supposed to die under normal circumstances cos he has his eternal tome ability and he's always behind the main army, equiping a pet that is based on him dying just reduces the value
@@Kyra-rw3du the other choice would be the RC which is the best choice imo. But the spirit fox, invisibility walk is too good to trade for. And the idea of not putting it with the BK for me is that, if it is going off on a wall, something has killed it, if it is stuck on the wall on revival and can't break thru in the time of it's revival, the revive has accomplished nothing. Also, I don't ever use the king to funnel anyway. There are disposable troops for that. I need the funnel created for the king to get into the core and wreak havoc with the giant gauntlet

@@0LLy796 it's more of an elimination process anyway, the other heroes have better pet synergies so why use Phoenix on them
