Ive been playing around with my lighting, editing and how I record trying to get it the way that I want and yay this is so much better and closer to the vision I have in my head for what my content looks like! now I've nailed this down I'll be able to do content much more easily 😊 particularly long form which I'm really keen to do more of now 🕺

I have watched ASMR for years and love it and the community so much. It's always been a safe space for me to go, particularly when my mental health hasn't been in a great place.
I love makeup and using makeup to express myself and be creative, so it felt only natural to create a channel that combines two things I love - makeup and ASMR! I'm also queer and makeup can be a beautiful way I explore and express my queer identity ✨🌈
I want this channel and community around it to be a safe, relaxing and joyful space for folks to come to and am deeply grateful to anyone who supports and helps contributes to this 💜

I really love that you focus on tapping and scratching and not on making super intense mouth sounds😭 I know theres people who enjoy them but they make me very uncomfortable and i literally want to cry, so i am happy i have found a channel that has more of what i like❤❤❤

Okay I've getting a lot of comments asking what is meant by 'queer' on my latest short and I also wanted to respond to this here cuz I do get this question frequently.
I love that queer is an open term and can mean a lot of different things. It's why I chose it instead of other terms such as bisexual/pansexual/gender fluid etc. Labels can be really empowering when you find one that resonates for you, and queer is what resonated for me. I think it best encompasses my identity as it allows for more fluidity in my sexuality or gender identity that can change all the time.
I've been attracted to and have dated people of different genders. Though, even if I had never dated or been in a 'relationship' with anyone but men, it would not make me any less queer. Your sexuality isn't based on just who you've dated or who you're currently dating. Just because I'm now in a committed relationship with a wonderful guy, does not make me any less queer. Part of the reason it took so long to come to accept being queer is because of comments and thoughts like this. The queer imposter syndrome and comphet is real! Coming out was liberating because it was finally acknowledging things I always unconsciously knew about myself and making the conscious. And looking back at a lot of my experiences that definitely checked out as being hella queer... like making out with a lot of girls during my teen years for 'practice' or at parties when I was older cuz I was 'drunk' or being 'jealous' of other girls when in reality I didn't want to be them I was actually just attracted to them and wanted to date them 😂
I also don't see my gender as strictly being a woman or believe in a gender binary which is why I use they/she pronouns.
And if none of this doesn't make sense to you thats because this isn't for you - queer is a word I use to describe me and it's about reclaiming how I see myself, not about how the world sees me. It could also mean you're just cis/straight which is why you may not ever be able to fully understand how other people may experience their sexuality or gender identity differently to you.
And for folks that do resonate with this, hi 🫶 I love you and see you 💜

Oh my god same. I have so manny asmr artist that i love but i just cannot tolerate their content for too long because they feature a LOT of mouth sounds. I have ADHD and it just over stimulates me. Im happy to know im not the only one that feels so strongly about this.
