I was very lucky to see Paul perform in his home town Middlesbrough at the Marton Country Club on the 18th April 2010. As a young man he used to frequent a nightclub The Kirklevington Country Club where he saw acts like Hendrix, Clapton, Joe Cocker, John Mayall and many more. When he started out he promised the owner John McCoy that he would perform for him but it wasn’t until 2010 that the promise was fulfilled. Unfortunately, there was a huge volcanic eruption in Iceland and the members of his band were unable to fly to the venue, consequently, a local band made up of elderly musicians stepped in to save the day. There is amateur videos on you tube of that concert. It was sheer magic and his voice was just like the records. Thank you Paul and may God speed your recovery.
Free interrupted my early 70's Slade songs, obsession, but I always stuck by Free, and this legend right here.is probably the main reason, his vocal chords are just the best ever. good to see him back,

I have actually met you back stage twice! My BJ passed away in 03 and your music holds so many amazing memories from our yrs together! ❤

Paul is such a wonderful person! and super talented! when I was a young man singing in a band I was often compared to him. which, of course, I thought was ridiculous because he's truly One of a kind! but it was a compliment of the highest order nonetheless!

My late husband introduced me to Bad Company music! My husband and I saw Bad Company in concert years ago in Omaha NE. USA At The Rosenblatt auditorium, which is no longer here, they torn it down and now we have the CHI Center venue! Thanks for the memories! Still love your music and my late hubby ❤ good luck on your health issues! Take Care
