Perspectives on Data Science in Policing

The Police Foundation and the Society of Evidence Based Policing brought together experts from policing and academia from around the world to discuss the benefits data science can bring to policing, and the risks and barriers to adoption, such as lack of capability and concerns around ethics, and explore how they can be overcome. It also explored best practice in the use of data science in policing nationally and internationally.
