Is the printer compatible with current slicers? Cura or superslicer?

I'm pretty sure it is. Almost every printer I know runs on Gcode, which is what a slicer converts an stl file into. Essentially, the slicer will turn your stl file, which is basically just a 3d model, into layers and also come up with the best possible way to execute those layers. How it tells your printer to do so is through Gcode, which is a specific set of instructions for your printer to follow to end up with the desired outcome. Most printers, if any, won't take stl / obj files directly due to them not having the slicer software directly in their system, which is needed to give printing instructions (Gcode).
Edit: I hope what I wrote makes sense and helps you along your journey. Happy printing!

All it needs a stl file from any CAD software which needs to be converted into makerbot format file and then you are good to go

@@SimplifiedEngineeirng The makerbot slicer is no longer up to date. That's why I decided against a Makerbot. Only simplify3d can do the same .Makerbot Output the file you need
