And their description in the Gospel is as a plant which produces its offshoots and strengthens them so they grow firm and stand upon their stalks, delighting the sowers - so that He [i.e., Allāh] may enrage by them1 the disbelievers. Jesus in the gospel of John 17:3 had also declared the shahadah by saying that Allah is the only true God and Jesus was His messenger.
Elsewhere in the same gospel, Jesus declared that his testimony is valid as his testimony was not alone but that of he and his father are Two Witnesses require by the Jewish laws.
