i recommend you to try white water rafting at Kuala Kubu Bharu ( 45 mins from KL) or Gopeng or Kampar in the state of Perak (1.5 hours from KL) for an awesome nature experience

Public holiday
Closer to KL

There will be a lot of local tourists over the holidays, and if there are too many, the environment will become trash-polluted and the wildlife will be disturbed.
