When you see the derivation (probably in CBSE book) path difference is 2ud cos(r).
By that it's proved constrive of transmitted light is equal to destructive of reflected light. So, in order to prove that we took 2n+1 instead of 2n-1. And (2n+1)×lamda/2 is also correct path difference fr destructive interference.
Fr person's who are getting doubt in this.

Sir for destructive interference in transmitted ray we have taken (2n-1) lambda/2 but in reflected light it is (2n+1)lambda /2. What is the reason for this formula in reflected light sir?

yo, it doesn't depend if it's 2n-1/2 lamda Or 2n+1/2 lamda, for 2n-1 n will start from 1 , to give values lamda/2 , 3lamda/2 , 5lamda/2 and so on, for 2n+1 n will start from 0 , to give the same values lamda/2 , 3lamda/2 , and so on
