Cool collection of equipment! Randomly thinking about the Case chopper/picker - it could pick sweet corn into one wagon and chopped forage into another. But I don't remember if it had a husking bed - which a sweet corn picker wouldn't have.
some really neat equipment! that silver tractor lyman ( not sure of the name) very uncommon one. neat seeing all the corn pickers! The largest was a 3 row I think. and the single row! the combines harvest 6 rows at 10mph what an advancement! great video, great way to see it all!
I was surprised to see a British Leyland tractor at the show British Leyland tractors formally known as Nuffield’s do you know if Nuffield’s were ever exported into the US.
3:17 I've not seen one like that. I wonder if that was meant to blow the chaf into another wagon for bedding? It really cleaned up the row afterwards. Thanks for sharing this video 👍👍✌️
Well after thinking about it you could be on to something or I thought maybe by chopping the stalk and blowing it out it helped with tillage later just like when we chop stalks
The Leyland tractor operator should be wearing a jaunty touring cap, a tweed jacket and a pair of brogans while smoking a briar pipe. In any case, he wins the outstanding towed array award with that picker-chopper (never seen one before). It's also begging for someone to drop beside with a vintage chuck wagon to provide silage support. Great video, by the way, sir!
thanks for sharing
I was surprised to see a Leyland tractor, over in the USA.. pronounced LAYland.... 👍👌
Probably has a fjording kit. lol
Love seeing the older equipment still running. It's amazing to see the more things change the more they stay the same.. When it works don't change it.
a white 1055 tractor not so common of a unit in the NE. always see fords, JD, Oliver's, alice Chalmers ect.
WEnt to Tech school in the Air Force at Rantoul.
That's cool!

Thanks for sharing, great to see old equipment still doing an awesome job. Some really interesting units.
Thanks for watching!
I liked the Woman driving the Super MTA and 2MH picker! She would yell a "Wahoo" when she went by!
There's a story behind that tractor and picker I think it may have been her father's and they restored it?

Was going to go to the show this year, but weather and hay season changed my plans. Would you recommend bringing a UTV to get around there?
