I've got a plugin addiction. I barely make any music anymore, I'm just hoarding and testing plugins. I shouldn't have clicked this, but for now... yay, more plugins!
Testing and experimenting are important too. Just set aside specific time for testing and specific time for work. You decide how much of each, but after you make the plan, stick to it.
Feel your pain 😂 but I think I found a solution. Just try and have a very organized list of categories of plug-ins, as in: eq, dynamic eq, compressor, multiband compressor etc. And then just use THE absolute best plug-in in each category and delete the rest. That way you declutter your list. Also test a new plugin only if you hear great things about it from others. Because great plug-ins will always be promoted (ex of free plug-ins ott or slate fresh air) so if any good plug-ins appear you'll find out from others, you don't need to always test them yourself. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the video. Two recommendations: Nice to hear the plugins using different instruments than drums. Create chapters in your videos, I knew already most of the plugins and saves time and gives appreciation to go straight to what is needed to see from the viewers :)
I only read they terminated business. I don't think you need to go bankrupt to pull the plug. It's a saturated market, and after the pandemic sales plummeted.
@@sergenity yes it is bro , all three of their plugins. I get you though, I had to look why it said 119$ when I knew Sage said it was free, I thought I was out of time for some reason but it didn't make sense. As it doesn't make sense why Sage said that he doesn't get why it is for free , when they are explaining it in their home page. All you have to do is just signup for a newsletter that will probably never come.
Nice. Thanks, buddy. Your videos are the best. Will add Airwindows, Reeferb, and Dense Fog Machine (hidden setting for 'Smoke'). Aurora Air Enhancer seems to add ~3.4 dB of gain, even set at -24 dB (which should be the default setting, although -28 dB could fix manual compensation).
I’ve used a lot of these plugins, and the only ones I would really recommend are the bpb saturator (god bless bpb- they’ve given my broke ass so many free plugins and discounts) and the Magic7 reverb. The magic7 reverb, I would also like to add, really tends to work well in 90s electronic settings. Sounds great if you’re going for the Gigi D’Agostino techno sound. Maybe skip it if you’re looking for something like reggae or dub though. Edit: I almost forgot, if you see the name “Analog Obsession”, that shit is automatically top tier for freebies. Analog Obsession makes really, REALLY good analog emulations.

wtf, I was so excited for the fxfk wave shaper plugin, but when I used it I found no way to change the curves. So I stopped using it thinking it was just one preset. Thanks for showing me that I can click on the graph and edit.
man you are some kind of stupid. aha yet another reverb plugin making someone sound like theyre in a large hall. cant fool me, i know he’s not actually in a chamber of sorts. when will it end
For everyone asking about links....A lot of times when we mention free plugins some companies change em to paid you ever watched a TH-cam clip said free and you go to website and it costs? Result is a big upset.... Anyways!! thank you for these videos
Awesome, but seriously.. did you have to upload this on the exact day AFTER i finally worked through my hundreds of VSTs in my downloads folder? Ah well, guess i go back to work lol
Because you didn't do much demo of most of these plugins, I have no idea if I want to try them. I didn't hear an difference in many of them because you went through them way too quickly. This video moved way too quickly!
Spacer was a paid plugin. but they went bust. Probably torrented to death. Their multi band transient shaper is wonderful! I don't actually like Spacer...
Why do all of these plugins have awful user interfaces? I'm interested in some of these, but what am I going to do about all the blood streaming down my cheeks?

119$ that free)))

That limiter with the clipper sounded nice. I also really liked that reverb calculator.
What a nice christmas gift. Thank you! 🙂
Your videos are 10/10
Well, it sure would have been nice if you'd included links in the description!
didn't know some of these ... thanks for the info and a great video
Thanks, Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
Happy holidays 🎄✨
YOU SIR! THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
Well, I was expecting to find all the links in the description... What a disappointment... :/
They never do. I believe to maximize viewer retention
Google it ?
Links? You want em to download it and write the song for you too? 😂 what a disappointment indeed…
Ever heard of google?
You should definitely ask for a refund.

I got Reeferb and like that I can basically get sidechained reverb without having to actually sidechain.

1:07 Is this "BassSaturator" as good as Waves' RBass?
Both are super solid choices, we like BassSaturator on drums and RBass on bass instruments.
How to mix a nasal voice?
The honk lives in 3-4k. Eq it out

Spacer is actually pretty…not good imo. Dragonfly reverb is infinitely better, and even that one is kind of meh

Unfortunately that tends to be what you get when it comes to free plugins. I’ve seen some reeeeaaaallly bad ones in my many years of being broke lol
I mainly use stock plugins but I’ll give some of these a try.
