It may seem strange that a country that never fought in the 20th century managed to create their own tank building legacy. That is why we’re shining a spotlight on the story of how the most famous Swedish vehicles, from Landsverk to Strv 103, were created.

The Swedish heavy tank definitely got further than a wooden mock-up, a chassi was made and tested, and when the heavy tank project was panned, the chassi was used as a testing platform for STRV 103. I had some fortune to get into the storages of the Swedish tank museum, and took a few pictures of it and a few other vehicles.

No, it actually fires 14 shells in 45 seconds. First shall hasn't landed when shell 14 is fired. It set a world record.
it could fire 15 shells in less than 1 min, but you are right i think it will have more than 15 shells.
I want the S-tank in Armored Welfare. I don't know why but I just love it.

SPOILER:The Swedish tech tree will have only TD's and medium from tier 2 to 7 from 7 to 10 it will be heavies

I think the swedish tree has been divided into two branches, light- and medium tanks in one and TDs in the other. The S-tank being a top tier TD.
the S tank is awsome i have been in one when it was driven when i did my military service its awsome in its mobility movies like a light tank
so.. This tanks gonna cost more? tier 6 for 1,2kk and tier 10 for 10kk? :D

That track and wheel system though imagine in WoT
14 round auto loading arty, most likely a tier 10. The only possible way to balance ,is the accuracy and aim time/between shots and it only gets the one clip. But the initial load is 2mins or something! Scary tank either way if it does show up!

I usely go for hevy and meds but that arty is somthing I wanted to have. go to eu server and look at my tanks Hms_Kronans and tell me what I play
I hope they add that auto loading SPG... obviously it won't have 14 shells unless it's REALLY low alpha damage but it would be hilarious to pepper and area with a platoon of them. "I think it's over there but they're not spotted" "No problem comrade, FIRE EVERYTHING"
Great video, but I can't understand why you couldnt show Swedish Strv 122 (Leo 2) in the end...
Well the leopard tank use today is vastly improved with munch better armor and improved gun and targeting system witch makes it one of the best tanks in the world. And if you fiddle a little with the engine you can get up to 80km/H on roads.
Strv 122 is a much improved Leo 2..
The Swedish tanks in game will be a cross between a French turret and a hull that's really had like the centurian...

Sweden makes good stuff. I am from Sweden so I may be biased, but just remeber, every time you use an adjustable wrench you have Sweden to thank for it.;) As well as Dynamite, the Nobel prize and cheap IKEA crap that's usually missing a few pieces but still works pretty damn well once it's in place.;)
An idea of bandkanone is still alive as archer system cheper because it was build on a lorry.
I mean yeah it has 14 shells, but if it gets introduced they can make it so it only holds 14 shells and have like a 3 min reload or something

So what we have here on the paper:
STRV 103B wields 10.5cm/L74 rifled gun
Slightly lower and wider profile than SU-122-44
Mobility is slightly worse than AMX 13 75
Armor thickness - 55mm and Effective armor - 260mm
Noteworthy: Chassis moves as the gun moves, like an oscillating turret on wheels

Sweden still kinda makes tanks, or atleast modifies them alot to fit our conditions. But there is the Archer wich is a speciall artillery peice.

Aw sweet Swedish tanks, I stumbled across Swedish armored vehicles a little ways back and became infatuated with them. However ,then again any nation in WW2 that wasn't Germany, America, great Britian, or Russia that made their own tanks, planes, and ships gains my infatuation.

Addendum: S-tank could swim "in theory"? Nothing theoretical about it. Dad took one across a lake during one of his army repetition months.

Maybe i have a nice idee, Netherlands? Not as tech three but as an map "Drain/Drownlands. The Dutch didn't build a lot of tanks but when the germans invasion us, open we our drowing systems and the hole land werd floded by the water, the german tanks can't drive annymore. And it was not possable to transport the tanks with boats. Maybe an nice Map idee?

Jag tror de som finns utöver flaggan är Tre kronor i guld på blått, Hemvärnet, Norrbottens pansarbataljon, Skånska dragonregimentet, Svenska armén och Skaraborgs regimente.

Just because leopards are made in germany doesnt mean they are german, the tanks even in germany were produced by dutchmen. The netherlands were the inventors of the leopards and producers.I should know this, my family works on the production of leopards and we have been doing so for 50-60 years by now.And yes were dutch, some polish guys help with small tasks tho, but building, drawing and calculating is 100% dutch.

what about it? that thing is a IFV like the american M2 bradley and it's no tank. Armed with 40 mm cannon it will never penetrating any tank because as i said it is for fighting infantry.

The stb-1 has the same kind of suspension with even better elevation and gun depression.Its is going to be like a e-25 but at tier 9 and 10.
