I agree, Minnie. Not only is it clear their brother and his wife love each other like crazy but they are also lovingly devoted to Ronnie and Donny, which is so endearing.
This is what Love looks like. I saw these brothers on TV a few years ago, and I loved their openness in sharing their lives with us. The loving support of their brother, sister-in-law and physicians is awesome.
I saw Ronny and Donny at the fair in Amarillo,Texas when I was a little girl. I never forgot them and it's a joy to see them on youtube now. I always wondered what happened to them. May you be richly blessed
RIP Ronnie And Donnie You were very sweet people I thank your little brother and the doctors for taking good care of you two.I know you are in no more pain and are with the Angels.
These men, these brothers, are EXTRAORDINARY. Jim's wife, Mary, is a perfect fit for this family as, she too, is amazing. I'm in awe of the strength, determination and love they all have. Just amazing. Truly.
Wow! The brother and his wife have the most beautiful and compassionate hearts. May they be blessed with good health and happiness. What a sad life for the twins.
You're absolutely right! I was thinking the exact same thing when I watched this. Those two handsome fellows were absolutely amazing, awesome and inspirational. May they R.I.P😇💔
Donny and Ronnie are amazing and their family is so positive and loving towards one another .God Bless them and their brother and sister in law that’s there for them.
Thank you for this documentary I’m glad I got to know Ronnie and Donnie I instantly fell in love with their personalities and brotherhood awwww miss them!!
This is why it is important to join lives with someone who has a heart after the matters that you have a heart after. Jim’s wife, Mary is a sweetheart.
I just watched this awesome clip of a WONDERFUL Family. It was humbling and inspirational to see such love between the brothers ❤. Are Ronnie and Donnie still with us? Blessings and Respect sent from Ireland
They seem so incredibly happy, considering the problems they face. Thank God they were not put into an institution, and have a lovely Brother and Sister in Law. I hope they have many more happy, and healthy years. Love to them both from me in England xxx
I am my brother’s keeper. They’re lucky to have such a caring younger brother who made and kept the promise he made them to never send them to live in a institution. Jim was is indeed his brother’s keeper. I hope they were able to get some strange from time to time before passing on.
I remember seeing them at carnival sideshow when I was 14. They were in a small room watching television. They decided that people were going to "stare" at them anyway so they might as well make money at it. Smart.
What a loving brother the twins have. Their own brother are their own angel plus another angel in form of their brother’s wife. God make a way ALL THE TIME. 🙏
This is by far one of the most uplifting, inspirational, beautiful love stories ❤ I've ever seen. I absolutely fell in love with these two handsome twins. Not to mention the most beautifully genuine affection and love the brother and his wife give to them ❤. Awesome! Much love your way from Houston Texas ❤ 💛 💙
The twins are awesome guys, so cool. There brother Jim is a hell of a guy himself, Jim's wife also is a hell of a lady, they do a great job of taking care of them...now that's a family...👍
RIP Ronnie and Donnie! Bless their brother and sister Inlaw in this world. You both did the best thing for them and yourself and wife. Bless them with laughter, love and life by helping guide them on their journey.
I have absolutely love this programme, what wonderful young men you two are and your brother is a real sweetheart. You both take what life has given in your stride and enjoyed it .you have worked and saved ,have your own home and look yourselfs.i admire you both . Much love too you x
Their Brother was spot on, awful as it is, without the sideshow work they would have had no chance in life and it's highly likely that without that "lifeline" the twins would have ended up in an institution long ago.
Wow, what a great little brother Jim is! I can't imagine what Ronnie and Donnie have had to go through in life. Hopefully they're still around and doing well ✌🙏
They died in hospice in 2020. They had separate cardio-pulmonary systems, so one very likely died first. Then, of course, the other one had to be euthanized. I can only imagine what that looked like. The one who was euthanized witnessed his brother die (probably in his arms) but then had the opportunity to tell him to his face that he would be joining him shortly. I'd love to see the reenactment of their last moments together. Such brave souls. And we think we have problems.
Thank you very much for sharing the news of their passing. In this video, the doctor did say that when that time came, the surviving twin could be sedated if necessary, which might be the kindest thing to do. I certainly wouldn't want to be in that situation and succumb to the terror of grief and fear with no way to calm myself down. I'm skeptical about the claim that one was euthanized, though -- it's not usually something chosen for humans except in extraordinary circumstances, and since conjoined twins are literally dependent on each other to keep living, when one passes it's only a matter of time before the other does, too. But we don't know what was discussed between these two and their health care team, and it's possible they decided on this course of action. So now I'm very curious and will reply again if I find out anything more. Cheers. ✌🍍
All official statements I could find have reported that both died of congestive heart failure on the same day (July 4, 2020), with no further details. Interestingly, there is a Reddit post from 2 months ago (August 2023) which begins, "Three years later and reporters have obtained previously sealed documents released by Hospice of Dayton and the Montgomery County Coroner's Office..." and then claims to cite from these. The explanation given is that they were nearly comatose when admitted to hospice on July 1, and were administered "palliative care/comfort maintenance" treatment of "muscle relaxers and pain killers". I believe the implication is that the medication was intended to help ease them into death, which is not unheard of at this stage of care. Take this with a grain of salt: The commenter didn't cite any sources or name specific documents, and I'm unable to find anything similar to this post -- or even, after the summer of 2020, any further reporting about their deaths -- as a layperson using Google. In conclusion, if they were in the end stages of congestive heart failure and barely conscious in their last days, and given stronger medication with intention of helping them die peacefully, this leaves me with these 2 points: 1. Neither brother was likely in a state to be aware at the time of the first death, or for the surviving twin to be distressed in the time before his own death. 2. Your assertion that the remaining twin was euthanized would not be entirely incorrect, but probably not as a result of his brother dying. Given their commingling circulatory systems it just makes more sense that any medication given beforehand would have acted on both, one before the other. Regardless of the nitty-gritty facts, I'm comforted to have learned that they were in a safe place, being cared for, with family present, and that one followed the other in the same day. Thanks for providing the impetus for me to find these things out, and I hope that you've been having an excellent year. Cheers. ✌🍍
What a hard life to live! I wondered how they both passed away when they have separate hearts. If one passes away, how long before the 2nd one passes away? The other Siamese twins were females and one passed away and it took 3 days before the 2nd one passed away as well. But for those 3 days, the one lady couldn't get out of bed because of the weight of the corpse. I would think they'd have an agreement that when one passes away, they would sedate the living one to pass away as well.
Maybe their purpose in life was to teach us all never to take for granted everyday blessings. I was very touched by this documentary especially the love their brother and sister-in-law and neighbors showed. No Doubt God will bless them tremendously while their brothers rest in peace.
What the hell is wrong with the airline that they couldn't get their chair to the destination undamaged? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that a motorized chair is a person's lifeline. Unbelievable.
Those three brothers were amazing! God bless the whole family including the sister in law. What a wonderful and special brother the twins have, he and his wife are amazing. I look forward to meeting them all here, there, or in the air when Christ returns. God bless them all!
I ran away with a carnival when I was 19 (1981) As the carnival (Olympic Expeditions) traveled the East Coast different attractions and rides would join us in different venues. I remember Ronnie and Donnie as they joined our fair at a venue. I used to buy them Reesee Cups almost daily and just say hi. They were always friendly to me. I think that was the sametime (Popeye) was with our show too. Another nice guy that could make his eyes pop out. I would meet girls and take them to popeye after the shows just to have fun with them. He loved freaking them out and so did I.
That was the most beautiful life story I've ever seen , I will keep them in my prayers , god continue to give them strength, endurance , patience , and health , they're ABSOLUTELY adorable , sending love and prayers to this beautiful family , watching from VOLOS Greece ❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏😅😅😇😇😇👍👍👍

On top of that… the Golden Nugget Pancake house is permanently closed
They will forever live on in the hearts of those who love them.
I saw them in their "living room" at the Michigan State Fair about 1960. We were about the same age. I'll never forget it.
Wow! I'm happy for you to have had that beautiful opportunity.
I'm overwhelmed with admiration & respect for the beloved parents, of the twins, who took life's' lemons and turned it into lemonade'. 🙏🏽
