SMH! I guess preaching a pie-in-the-sky, name it and claim it, haul it and call it, and an ATM Gospel is flowing in the Spirit. Failing to address social issues that parishioners face day to day because of the inequalities that exist is flowing in the Spirit. Making mockery of the Old Hymns of the Church (e.g. Rock of Ages, Old Ship of Zion, and etc.), songs that were written out of experiences with God is flowing in the Spirit. Whether we accept this fact or not, we as Christians are simply pilgrims in this barren land. This WORLD is not our HOME! Selah!

I don't think that he's trying to attack them personally I think he's just talking about the preachers that overdo it but Bishop GE Patterson was one of my favorites followed by Nathan Simmons and also TD Jakes Noel Jones on and on yeah but he's friends with all of them I don't think that he would was attacking them just to preachers that go over the top with the whooping
Antonio Rios, I know that you mean no harm in finding the humor in your post. But "whooping" is not always theatrics, it is a real part of the worship experience for the Black Preacher after he has done all the teaching that Pastor Dollar mock in his message. The house of God has many rooms, Creflo's delivery method is not the blue print for effective preaching. None of us have a monopoly on the how the Spirit moves.

I get what he's trying to say. As a preacher pastor who is a whoop I am a lil offended. It's nothing wrong with celebrating our heritage in our preaching style as long as there is proper exegesis of scripture. So a WOF preacher like Dollar may not whoop but his hermeneutic is horrendous most times, so he's actually guilty of what he speaks. I encourage preachers to go to seminary and learn how to handle The text and of a whoop comes after that its all good.
Wow! What's so funny is just this past October 2019 I believe before the pandemic started, he preached at First Baptist Church in Atlanta, his home church. And he stood in front of almost 1,000 people and he did the exact same thing that he is criticizing in this particular clip, hooping and tuning up....and he turned First Baptist out with it. Trust me, Dr. Dollar tuned up so good that night and the video went viral. I'm sure you can pull it up right here on TH-cam. So honestly I just don't get it. It seems kinda hypocritical to me......just move on and preach.

I did research whooping Came From Slavery preachers any change their sermon into a song when they were finished preaching there's nothing wrong with it but if you're overdoing it you're not really saying anything to the people usually you supposed to do that at the end well how I came up you would teach first and then you would hoop at the end of the sermon usually the last 10-15 minutes but the rest of the 45 would be teaching to him their own I'm also an upcoming pastor but I teach before I get people excited they're not going to get anything from me screaming the organ and drums playing behind me that's at the end after I give them the lesson

Whooping isn't always a show, and isn't he a WOF preacher? They don't normally whoop anyways. He's been guilty of saying questionable things without the whooping and hollering. When we whoop and shout in church, we do it as a celebration to what we have learned and received. If you're preaching a bunch of mess, I don't care how much you whoop and carry on, a true discerning Christian will see through your mess.

I'm sick of preachers like him who talks about other preachers because they don't agree with the STYLE of another fellow preacher. My pastor TEACHES, then he does his hoop sometimes,so what Rev. Dollar just imitated is not correct for MOST PREACHERS.

I feel that people are really misunderstanding him. And why are people criticizing and critiquing him? We are all children of the Lord, we shouldn't be judgmental of others, especially a man of God such as himself. He's been a blessing to us and has been preaching for many years and I am an active member of his church. I pray that we could all come together as one and not always try finding the fault in someone.

It amazes me how when a people feel they have arrived, the put down and talk about the past that brought them to there understanding and help form who they are in a positive way. I like what Paul said, "I became all things to all people, that I might win some!" Personally I couldn't watch a full sermon of Pastor Dollar and stay awake, his preaching doesn't teach me nor do I feel more knowledgeable of the Bible or God expectation of me. I know that some don't feel the same way, but to each his own. Respect all who carry the Gospel of Peace!
This man has no understanding of the black preaching tradition and his satire is mean spirited and hopeful and shows that he is ignorant of the shoulders that he stands upon. If these preachers who he ridicules had not come before him he would not be where is, plain and simple. I won't even go into how problematic much of his theology is.
There's nothing wrong with whooping and hollering. God has been good to us all. Black Preachers are emotional like that because it is a part of our DNA. We know our historical struggles as a people. He should never nor even in the remotest sense put down on where he came from. Whoopology is a staple in the black church.

I understand that we can get caught up in the style and delivery of preaching, but no style is superior to the other. What matters is the word being preached by the anointing and power of the Holy Ghost. There are various styles and God moves in each individual differently. Some mock the whooping style, but they have no power or anointing and they do what seems to be appealing to the crowd. Therefore, we shouldn't knock a style of preaching, but listen to what the Spirit is saying to church.

If CD dont like old testament or the book of Daniel he can study tne new testament such as the life of Paul or the life of saints mentioned on Hebrews 11 and learn how they suffered.

Seeking God is the most important thing, through His Word, prayer and fasting. I love teaching and I enjoy whooping. I have seen God move in both cases. There are many things that are being done in all churches that we can criticize. I don't have any reasons to do so, to any man or woman of God, all I can say is read your bible, some preach, and some teach, the difference is, to preach involves a sermon, to advocate or inculcate- which mean to instill an attitude, idea or habit, and to do it in an obtrusive way. To teach involves a lesson, to impart knowledge in, they are not the same.
What angers me the most is the crowd, thousands strong, who have bought into a show and abnegated their responsibility to exercise discernment. Have a look at the documentary 'Marjoe' to get a glimpse into the reality of the prosperity culture.
The authorities need to make all those mega church that live high life the off backs of simple mined, refund there titles. It a shame to take advantage of the emotional broken babies that the knowledge of god ways. For them to high and the members are poor and suffering. M jones detroit

Seems ironic that Creflo would get on the case of the whooping preachers, especially since his prophecy of his saints being millionaires by the end of 2012 has not come to pass. We've got to start being like the Bereans and "studying" to show ourselves approved. After all, the teacher Jesus left us with is the Holy Spirit to bring us into all truths; and not "man".

creflo changed so much after they built the dome....he used to be full of joy even while he was preaching good usable positive stuff.... now he just seems so angry, and he's got that 'dont touch the lords anointed' thing....i went to a meeting they had in cincinnati, and there were donation buckets at the end of every row, and then ushers came out with more collections baskets, it was like a high pressure pyramid scheme or something....kind of depressing....

You guys are missing the point of this. Pastor Dollar is one of the greatest preachers of the Word of God, and he doesn't filter his preachings at all. He teaches us properly the way many preachers should. You should know him more before criticizing him.
