Thanks for another interesting video. I practice slowly with fast, snapping, clean-cut finger motions and I slow down even more at my problem spots, snapping my fingers even faster. It’s practicing unevenly on purpose. You have to have a well developed idea of what the proper rhythm is for this technique. Practicing unevenly like this gives your brain a little more time to think about what you’re doing. I also isolate a group of notes that seem to be a problem and practice them with snapping clean-cut finger motions.
This looks super fun. I actually love exercises like this. Thanks for keeping me motivated to play. Even as an older person with a degree in music it helps to have someone say here...practice these for awhile and don’t forget that one technique when you are practicing.
Excellent!! I teach a lot of Klose actually! Great advice! I like your 3 tips a lot! Under tempo and a lot of repetitions, that’s the magic bullet! I think people underestimate the amount of perfect repetitions a pro does!!! Your editing is so good! I wish mine was, as good!! Hope Camille is doing better!!
Thanks for the additional tips, Cathy 🙂 Camille did see a cardiologist and is home now. She does heart disease and CHF 🙁, but the symptoms are under control at the moment. When she returned from the hospital yesterday, she was back to her spot on my lap ❤️ 🐈

Yeah, I give my students exercises like this sometimes and am always like, "wow, I should do these more often, they are actually kinda fun!"
Hi Cally,
Nice lesson with concentration on clean note connection.
Best Wishes,
Richard
Did you buy A? Transposing is a nice practice.
Not yet, still waiting to hear back from my Yamaha people. My RC A is still good, just a different sound concept than my Bb 😬
